This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
•Just In Time! Snap Scene is faster AND more effective than ever with “Just in Time” programming. Simply drop down the menu, select the hotspot tool, create the hotspot and record, then the hotspot is ready to play. When a new hotspot is added to a scene, it can be used immediately in the interaction, building the child’s language/expressive vocabulary in the moment.
•Hotspot “Fade Out” option! Change how hotspots are displayed with the new “Fade Out” option that shows the hotspots when a scene is first opened, then fades them away. This is important because having the hotspots on the screen at all times as dotted lines can disrupt the visual cognitive processing of the scene as a whole, this is especially problematic for beginning communicators.
•Larger Programming Buttons! To help support our early communicators, we created larger programming buttons (i.e. Record Sound). By being involved, early communicators are motivated and more empowered to assume ownership of their vocabulary.
•Labels! A few changes have been made to the beginning literacy feature that displays the label as the recording plays. The word now animates out from below where you are touching, so it’s not blocking the content of the hotspot. There is also a new option to turn on High-Contrast labels for those with vision impairments. In addition, you now have the option of having labels on all the time!
