What ever happened to meeting someone new while you're out and about? Sure, the Internet is a great way to meet someone online and find out all you can about them before you meet them. But, what if you're at that lounge, bar, club, even the supermarket, and you see someone you want to talk to? Maybe you aren't quite sure what to say or how to approach that person and that's where SocialBreaker comes in.
SocialBreaker is a fun way to use your phone to approach someone in public and see if they might be interested, too. Pick your favorite icebreaker or even create your own (with the paid version) and then simply show your phone along with the icebreaker to the person you're interested in getting to know. The person has the option to click "yes" or "no" to whether they want to chat with you. If they choose "yes", congrats! If they choose "no", don't worry, at least you gave it a try, right?
Either option the person chooses will allow the both of you to take a "SocialBreaker Selfie" that you can upload to your Facebook or Twitter accounts to show that you had success or that you at least tried.
Check our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages to see which SocialBreaker Selfies make it to our weekly "Best SocialBreaker Selfies" taken. By the way, we don't save your photos when you take them, so make sure you set the visibility to "public" for when we do our searches to find the best ones!
The goal of this app is to help the user approach people that he/she would normally not approach. This makes for the best SocialBreaker selfies when you expand on your comfort zone! Those selfies have a better chance on making it to our weekly best SocialBreaker selfies spot on our social media pages.

Go out and give it your best shot to meet that special someone! At least you can say you tried, right?
The Free version has ads and eliminates the ability to enter your own custom icebreakers. Upgrade to the paid version to enter your own icebreaker and get rid of those ads.
Future updates will include:
-Ability to use a photo as an icebreaker
-More fun icebreakers to choose from
-Visual changes based on user feedback
-Ability to use GPS for tagging where you are at while using the app
-Other minor changes based on user feedback (So, don't be shy and tell us how to make the app better!)
