Multiplayer Enhancements
1.7 introduces a new match-making system. Players can now “search” for multiplayer games while still enjoying Quick & Custom games. A green dot will let you know when you are actively looking and text will display how many other players are also playing online games right now.
1.6.1
2018-11-06
1.6.1 - November 5, 2018
- Updated scoring options! Players can now score points on different runs. Runs consist of 5 or 6 dice in order.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 = 1,500 points
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 = 500 points
2, 3, 4, 5, 6 = 750 points
- 3 new collectible dice! 1 Common, 1 Rare, and the first new Epic die. You'll have to win them to find out what they are.
- Updated Komi points. Since a komi of 40 points was useless, and 60 points (for 3,000 point games) is a bit strange, both have been changed to 50.

1.6 - Collectible Dice!
Players can now win different collectible dice after each game. On the new "My Collection" page, you can see all the dice you've won, and switch them in and out of your Play Set. Your Play Set is the dice you roll when playing, even in Online Multiplayer games. Some of the new dice are Common drops, while a few will only drop Rarely. Playing an Online Multiplayer game will greatly increase your chances of winning new dice (including the Rares).
How To Use My Collection:
While on the My Collection page, you can update your Play Set with any dice you've won by tapping first on the die in the collection, then tapping on the Play Set. You can only win up to 6 of a given collectible die. Once you've substituted all the collectible dice you own, of a given type, that die will Lock until you either remove it from your Play Set, or you win an additional copy of that die.
You can see how many Collectible Dice there are to find, and how many you've found, on the Stats page.

Big Fix: A nasty bug where ads weren't granting multiplayer tokens. Sorry! There is a button to refill your tokens freely, on the News page.
Also fixed a few other multiplayer bugs.

1.5.3
* A new custom-game option. Komi. The komi, or komidashi, is from the game of Go, and are compensatory points granted to a disadvantaged player. For example in Squire’s Dice the 2nd-player will start with 40 points, to compensate for turn-order. These points scale with the total points needed to win. If you play to 10,000, the 2nd-player will start with 200 points.
* Smoother, improved animations for how dice are moved around on the board.
* Slightly improved bust-plank physics.
* Rewrote a lot of the AI code, since AI difficulty settings is something I’d like to do soon.

## 1.4.1 - Minor Enhancements
[New] Trying out a single button to play (local) multiplayer game. It will start by looking for a game on the network, and then fallback to hosting one.
[New] Updated game-results art, animation & sounds (I’m no sound-designer!), and also some buttons.
[Fixed] A few UI bugs.
1.4
2018-05-12
The first version of multiplayer has been released! Two players on the same network can now play vs. each other. Currently supports local network "Quick" games only. Better networking support and more multiplayer game-types are coming soon.

[Fixed] Some older devices couldn’t display the red die-selected outline so I’ve added a fallback effect in those cases.
[Changed] Improved shadow quality on game-board.

Version: 1.3 - UI Overhaul
[New] All new UI pages, which look nicer and should be more performant on older devices.
[New] Added a new rule for Custom-Games: Players must reach 1000 points in a single-roll before they can bank any points.
[New] Updated Roll/Pass buttons, easier to tap and better positioned.
[Changed] If you bail on a game in the middle, it’ll now get recorded as a Loss in the stats. :( There is a grace-period in case you start a game by accident, though. :)
1.3.1 Patch - Apr. 12, 2018
[New] A setting added for left/right-hand mods (as well as the current split mode).
[Fixed] A bug where the UI was too big on tablets.
[Fixed] Found another case where dice would keep rolling after you quit mid-game, added more protection for this.
1.2
2018-04-12
Version: 1.2 - Custom Games (and other fixes)
Big Additions:
* Custom Games
Players can now start “Custom Games” against the AI. The customizations are limited for the time being. Players can set the points needed to win (much more than 2,000 now) and also who goes first. More customizations will be added in the future, such as alternate rules and AI difficulty
* Initial iPad Support
Tablet visual support still needs some work, and should be addressed in a following update
Minor Updates:
* Made the dice slightly larger, easier to see, easier to tap, still plenty of room for them to bounce around
* Speaking of bouncing, sped up the physics a tad as well. Will continue to make fine adjustments to how dice physics work
* Made the Roll / Pass ribbons easier to tap
* Added a shadow-toggle to improve performance on older devices
* Added a volume-control to the main menu for now - will be accessible during play in a later update
* Adds the game version number to the About page for easier bug-tracking
Optimization:
* Simplified lighting layout for mobile. Reduced the number of realtime lights, while also “baking” fancy lighting effects right into the game. This should make it look better while also making it use fewer system resources.
Along with the shadow-toggle, I’ll be adding more performance adjustments in the future to give players a way to reduce the battery strain while they play on the go.
Bug Fixes:
* Quitting a game mid-roll should work better
* Fixed a rare bug where dice could be lost off the table (just like real life) - they should now be tossed back in (also just like real life)
* Bust-board no longer hangs around between games
* Improved iPhoneX layout
