1.3.1
2015-04-01
1.3.1 brings a lowering of the minimum file size that the app will accept. Stockimo now accepts images 640 pixels x 640 pixels.
This is particular helpful for users wanting to upload their Instagram images or images that have been cropped or processed, leading to a reduction in file size.
1.3.0
2014-12-09
Version 1.3 provides a cool set of enhancements in line with feedback from early users plus maintains compatibility with iOS8
New features include:
Stockimonews – You now have the option to submit Live news images via the app. Stockimonews mode has a simplified interface allowing for rapid despatching of images to the news desks of pictures editors around the world via the Alamy Live newsfeed. You can use the same app to submit both cool creative photography and or live news, sport or entertainment shots. So, whether it’s a stunning sunset or ground breaking news Stockimo will get your photos in front of buyers.
IFTTT integration – Stockimo is now a recognised channel partner of IFTTT, this allows you to make bespoke connections between Stockimo and other apps and platforms. For example if you’ve always wanted to get an SMS message every time you make a Stockimo sale, you can set this up using IFTTT. It puts you in control of a host of opportunities both for uploading to Stockimo (If I add a photo to Flickr upload to Stockimo) or sharing and using outputs from the app (Tell my Facebook friends if I get a photo accepted). Check it out, you’ll love what you can do with it.
Customer Likes – The answer to the eternal question asked by creators of great photography. Everyone wants to know what’s selling, what do customers really like and want? The Customer Likes tab is a live feed of imagery bought, looked at and selected by the customers using Alamy and it’s global distribution network. Use it for inspiration or bask in the kudos of making it onto the Customer Likes list.
Rejection Reasons - V1.3 not only tells you if your photo has been rejected but it now tells you why. This could be because you’ve incorrectly listed the number of people in the shot or simply that your photo didn’t quite reach the required rating score. An invaluable mechanism to give you feedback, helping you get a 100% acceptance rate.
