This quick-reference guide to the Trauma & Orthopaedics UK curriculum has been developed by an orthopaedic trainee in conjunction with the British Orthopaedic Association. It is designed to help trainers and trainees to get the most out of the new curriculum.

The app includes an interactive syllabus browser, allowing trainees to track their progress against each topic. This will help to organise FRCS(Orth) exam preparation and be useful when choosing topics for learning agreements.

The app also contains useful information for trainers and trainees about the curriculum. It includes tips and tricks to make the most of assessments.

Look out for news and updates to keep abreast of the latest changes in the curriculum.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

- Updated the levels and categories in the 'Knowledge' and 'Skills' sections.
- Information content updated.
- Updated 'Progress' to be inline with latest exit requirements.

Thanks to everyone for all of your suggestions. We have added lots of new features in this update:

1. Trainer and Trainee profiles: If you specify your grade in 'Settings', only information relevant to you is displayed in the new 'Information' tab.

2. You can now specify whether you have fulfilled the 'Professional and Leadership' area of the curriculum. If you have evidence in your portfolio against any topic, you can mark it as complete.

3. Progress is now displayed as a percentage, rather than a fraction, making it easier to read.

4. The 'My Progress' tab now allows you to track your progress against CCT requirements for total operations, indicative numbers, PBAs at level 4, and other areas such as audit and research.

5. Several areas of the curriculum have been reorganised.

Watch out for the next update, which will include Push Notification so that you can keep up-to-date with the latest developments in orthopaedic training.
