Players are presented with a variety of creative and thought provoking personal questions as well as fascinating trivia - each with a numerical answer. One player chooses the most compelling query, and everyone submits their best guesses for discussion, scrutiny, and probably some playful joshing.

Each player then places bets on the answer or answers they think are closest to correct, and points are awarded for accurate responses and well placed wagers.

As long as you’re conversing with each other you’re playing correctly! If you’re laughing with your group, you’re succeeding, and if you have the most points, you’re winning!

The game can be played with 2+ people, most ideal game play is 4+ people, and up to 16 players can be supported.

Settings, such as timers, scoring, number of rounds, number of questions, and question type, can all be modified to create your best experience.

So, how do you play?

All you need to know: Answer questions, talk to your friends, follow the prompts on the screen!

Information that will actually help you play: One person “hosts” and provides a lobby ID to everyone else who then “joins”. Players take turns selecting personal or trivia questions. Questions are answered, and responses are displayed, discussed, and bet on. Points are awarded for (closest to) correct answers, and correctly placed bets!

The twist: Personal questions earn the selector automatic points, as the selector doesn’t participate in betting. Instead the selector sees which of their friends know them best by observing the other participants’ responses.

The point: the goal is to improve the quality of time spent with others. The score barely matters (except to those people to whom winning is ALL that matters…). Everyone craves meaningful conversation and the opportunity to express themselves openly - Tally Tell provides that platform within a casual game play environment!

Additional information: The settings are a great way to modify your ideal Tally Tell game experience. For short, fast paced games select 1-2 rounds, set the timer for only 30 seconds, and limit the number of bets to 1. This is a great option when pressed for time or when the players don't know each other as well. If you have more time and are with people you know well, play 3-4 rounds, and increase the timer to 1-2 minutes to allow for more discussion. Whatever the situation, there is a setting for you!
