What’s new:

2023-02-06
What’s new:
• You can now upload, change, or remove your profile picture within Tjing. Because we all could use more friendly faces these days.
• Your Casual player list just got a little friendlier. You’ll now see avatars next to your friends’ name, and a default avatar for those without an account.
• Now with the new Quickswitcher you can gracefully jump between Organiser, and Player Mode in the app. Find it in Settings on your Profile tab.
• For most Organisers, the Manager is the heart of Tjing. Now, it’s also the feet, because in Organiser mode, the Manager is now its own tab at the bottom of the app.
• Fixed: In some rare cases, attempting to create a Casual Scorecard from your recent list could sometimes result in an error. It was a bug. But now, a fixed one.
• Fixed: In the Verifier, it seems hole names and hole numbers got mixed up recently. It was a simple misunderstanding, and will now work as intended.
• Fixed: When trying to search for courses while having location turned off would show up as ”no results”. That was an error on our end.

2022-09-18

• When someone invites you to join a team, we will now send you a polite little notification with a message asking you to either to accept, or decline the invitation.
• Fixed: On rare occasions multiple event rounds and scorecards can occur. In these cases the app will now gently ask you which scorecard you would like to use.
• Fixed: The Verifier would occasionally shuffle scores around playing some sort of hide and seek. Scores will now fall into line as expected.
1.10
2022-06-27
What’s new:

1.9
2022-06-16
What’s new:
• Events can now be starred and unstarred with a tap of your finger. Handy!
• You can now sort your Events by Upcoming, Starred and Finished! Tap the buttons on the top of your Event feed to see the tidy new timelines.
• Tapping the Event card will now give you quick access to the Event results, unless there is a colourful Scorecard or Check-in button visible. Obviously.
• AND we’ve made it easier to access the Round Summary and Sharing Options by moving them to their own tabs at the bottom of your Event and Casual cards, making for a tidier, more focused experience.
• When sharing your score you will now also be able to share all players’ scores on your card – with or without stats. Should things always have been this way? Yes! And now they are.
• Fixed: The DNF button would sometimes not DNF the person in question. Confusing. We’ve tied up some loose ends and this is now fixed.

1.8
2022-01-23
What’s new:
• Now when a TD sends you a message we’ll send you a polite little notification telling you so. A new envelope icon on an event card gives quick access to the entire message, and also serves as a nifty way to return to it at any time.
• A ‘Leave scorecard’ option has been added to casual rounds created by another user, and will now remove you from that scorecard.
• Fixed: Rotating your device while viewing live scoring and results should now take you to the good old landscape mode, and back.
• Fixed: The scorecard was designed to make things easy on the eyes, not to simulate dark matter, so we removed the massive darkness from the bottom of the card. Good news in dark times.

• Fixed: The tee order had another touch of dyscalculia but should now work as intended.
• Fixed: A sneaky issue where the wrong pool times would show. It can now tell right from wrong.
1.6
2021-08-16
What’s new:
• Tapping a finished event card no longer takes you to the web. You’ll now see a Round Summary with easy access to sharing options, scorecards and other handy links.

• Minor stability improvements in general.

• Like stats? Great news! Now you can distinguish your progress better on each casual round without the need of a calculator. From today, you'll notice a shiny new scorecard summary. You’ll find it in the scorecard menu under, not unexpectedly: Show summary.
• Missing a course? Now you can submit a course for review directly from the app. Once submitted, let it cook for a while and then it should magically appear in the app.
• We added the certificate mark next to all official layouts in your casual feed. A small, but useful detail.
• Fixed: Event cards with custom hole names now show the correct hole name. Apologies for the confusion.
• Fixed: The ”Find events” button had one job. It now performs that job.
• We also cleaned some rough edges making the app subtly better.

• Now, when searching for courses to play, you’ll see the hole-by-hole details on all course layouts.
• We also enhanced the course search. You can now search for country, city and address, each making a difference for the better.
