Trace was built in partnership with Dartmouth College and the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth primarily for use in Hanover, NH. We utilize digital solutions, including Bluetooth and GPS, to provide proximity tracking services for the community.
The Trace solution allows community members to run the app when desired or recommended by the organizational leadership, leaving the rest up to designated community administrators. Our goal is to enhance the safety of community members with minimal impact to their daily lives, while providing administrators and safety personnel with powerful tools driven by timely and accurate information not previously available. Trace is intentionally an application that the user will not interact with particularly often or even on a daily basis, but provides invaluable information and communication capabilities to administrators, and a new level of security to community members during emergencies or other safety-compromising events.
Trace allows administrators to be certain that they can always access the relevant and necessary information on the relative safety of their community when security is potentially impacted, via the Trace administrator analytics dashboard.
This app can be used to:
- Find out early if your health and safety might be compromised
- Allow community leaders to act quickly and decisively to keep you safe and healthy
- Have peace of mind when interacting with others in your community
Data Security:
- Trace removes old data daily and does not store proximity information for more than 14 days
- Trace only provides necessary information to designated community administrators with your permission
- Trace does not sell your data
- Trace provides data only for health and safety purposes to certain designated organizational health and safety leads
- You can request removal of your data at any time by contacting
