At the request of numerous customers, the various blending tools now show the cumulative target pressure after adding each gas to the mix. The flexibility of adding gases in any order has been maintained by allowing the user to change the fill order in the tool's results area. To change the fill order you simply press and drag on a tank image in the results area to change the relative fill order of that gas. The cumulative target pressure will be updated as the row's positions changes.
Other improvements include:
• Bleed Down - Trimix Tools now includes an often requested tool to calculate the pressure to bleed a mix down to, so that the new mix can be blended with minimum gas loss.
• E-mailing the results of your calculations can now be done without leaving the application. Trimix Tools takes advantage of the ability of newer platform software to compose e-mail from within the application. Trimix Tools will still open the the Mail application to send the results on devices running older platform software.
• Improvements to some user interface elements.
1.3
2009-05-21
Version 1.3:
Improved compatibility with various iPhone OS releases.
Version 1.2:
Heliair and Helitrox blending is now directly supported with the new "Helitrox" tab. You can calculate Helium based mixes using just Helium and one or two available Nitrox mixes and/or air. This eliminates the need to use pure Oxygen for certain mixes.
All the tools now have the ability to e-mail the results of the calculations using the iPhone's built in Mail application. You can enter addresses and the subject directly in Mail or set initial values in Trimix Tool's settings tab that will be transfered to the Mail application.
You can now pick Trimix and EAN values using pre-installed default mixes or your own saved custom mixes. You simply tap the "Mixes" button when you are setting a mix to see a list of saved mixes that you can use directly by tapping on them. You can save the current mix displayed on the gas picker wheels by tapping the "+" button. Just like with the saved calculations, you can re-arrange or delete any mixes in your saved list.
Based on user requests, the display format for Trimix values has been changed to the more common notation in the technical diving community of O2/He (for example 10.5/50 is now used instead of 10.5%-50%).
There have also been some minor improvements displaying some results and entering some values.
