Today, in addition to Audio, we are introducing Text as a new medium to discover the world around you. You read that right, Transcripts are here!
Roamy is your ultimate travel companion. And because we want Roamy to be as accessible as possible, we are adding full text transcripts of the audio content, so you can experience Roamy in all contexts, in all your travels.
To experience it, check out the details of a place either from the Discovery Feed, or from the Map. Notice that the different chapters of a place now feature a chevron pointing downwards. Hit it, and boom. You now have access to all the tidbits of a place at a glance.
If you're the kind of person with a visual memory, we thought of you too! Press anywhere on a place chapter, and the playback starts as usual. Now, unfold the transcript, and check out the now playing sentence being highlighted. Karaoke Roamy!

- Autoplay is parked, for now. Instead, no matter where you are, the Player is now surfacing the closest place, so that discovering new places around you is always only one tap away.

- With GeoTags, discover contextual info about the neighbourhood, the city or the country you're in at the tap of your finger. Zoom in on the map at the street level, and GeoTags will surface the district you're in. Zoom out a little more to get an aerial view of your city, and boom - there are all the bits about it, instantly. Last round. Zoom out some more, and the country will surface.
