Thank you for using twineIT! We are always working to improve your experience on twineIT with new features, bug fixes and improvements across the platform. This release of twineSTUDIO includes the following:
NEW
- Added the ability to manually trigger a Speed Test from the admin dashboard
- When Speed Test is running the Online Status Dot will pulse slightly giving a visual indicator that the Speed Test is running in the background
- App will now detect when it has been backgrounded by a popup window and automatically restart should the condition persist for more than 5 minutes.
IMPROVED
- Speed Test automatically triggers when launching an event
- Speed Test automatically triggers when changing connection type (WiFi -> Cellular; Cellular -> WiFi)
- Moved the Status Bar to the left slightly so it does not occlude the camera indicator dot
- Separated the Battery/Charging Status from the Online Status Dot for more clarity
- Speed Test (SpeedChecker) button is disabled (greyed out) while the Speed Test is being performed so it can't be tapped and gives a visual indicator to the user that the Speed Test is ongoing
- Other performance improvements and enhancements
FIXED
- Fixed Speed Test so it works when connected via cellular
- Visibility of the connection type (WiFi/Cellular) in the Status Bar was connected to the Speed Test completing its task. The visibility is now independent of the Speed Test.
- Fixed the timestamp that is passed to the Admin Dashboard so that it's reflective of the user's timezone and is more clearly formatted
- Fixed the Speed Test button while in Event Options view so it works as expected
- Various bug fixes
