1- Rialto Bridge: See how merchants used to arrive on their huge ships to trade exotic goods when Rialto Bridge was a drawbridge made of wood. Take in the overview of the Grand Canal from the perspective of a gondola ride.
2- Rialto Area: This evocative scene takes place in the 16th century from the middle of the Rialto area: the center of European trade. Find yourself surrounded by merchants, nobles and seasoned travelers.
3- Grand Canal During the Carnival: Your breath will be taken away by this incredible view of the Grand Canal at sunset during a 17th-century carnival from a gondola. Marvel at all the people wearing local carnival marks.
4- Saint Mark’s Square: You’ll stand on one of the ships arriving at Saint Mark’s Square, after the victorious crusade of Lepanto. Surrounding you on this huge ship are soldiers and the rowers. This is a “Galea” (Venetian Warship). Admire the exquisite workmanship of the detail.
5- Saint Mark’s Square in the Middle Ages: This curious view of Saint Mark’s Square in the 11th century will surprise you by its green appearance. Here, you can find the Doge’s Palace and the Basilica, which have been utterly transformed in the Modern Age. In this square, there are merchants, street markets and luscious green grass.
6- Saint Mark’s Square and the treasures of Constantinople: Witness first-hand how Venetian soldiers arrived triumphantly from their successful crusade in Constantinople, bringing back many priceless treasures, such as the Pala D’Oro (Golden Altar).
