Warlands is a turn-based strategy game where your goal is to destroy your enemies and take over the map until you achieve total world domination.
You can play up to 7 other people or computers, either on the same device or over the internet.
You are able to place two different types of units (one that is better at attacking, and one that is better at defending), and there are six different types of territory: plains, impassable mountains, treacherous water, defensive towers, cunning forests, and unit production centers.
The free base game comes with three styles of maps in three sizes each. Additional map packs can be purchased for 99 cents. Purchase of any map pack removes advertisements.

The best one
It’s the best strategy game for iOS and I really enjoy playing it.
I also like the minimalistic design.
But I do have three questions tho:
1) My enemy has surrendered cause I fought him to the inevitable lost. Why don’t I get a credit for that in the leaderboards table? Like I’ve won at least 50 battles for sure, but only got “18 defeated”. That’s pretty sad!
2) Why can’t I make a template of map with favorite size/number of players/fog of war, etc?
3) Why can’t I invite someone to a re-match? It is impossible to reach any player, so I have to wait for weeks when the random connects us in match. If only it will...

Simple and beautiful; evolve!
It is an amazing strategic game which (provided you play with other humans) will never get you bored. Even though simplicity is what makes the gameplay so adorable, I would really like to see more features: few more types of environment, another type of units? And I believe that if you make 6-9 free maps *which are so different that you have a different gameplay every time* with 12-15 paid maps, you might see these packs getting bought. Players definitely don't have a chance to get a real taste of the game right now.
