Kazboo is a social friendship app especially for people with developmental disabilities and special needs.

As a member of our online kazboo community, you can make new friends and make online contact with the friends you already have.

We have made the app so that you can participate even if you are not so good at writing and reading. In the app, you can talk to your friends with audio and video messages. You can send them pictures and videos, and you can also share the things you find interesting on your page.
With your interests, you can find friends who have the same interest.
Not just friends, but also knowledge and entertainment.

It's not just friends you'll find here in our online community. We also have many other things you can be a part of.
You can play games and listen to podcasts and audiobooks and watch our various user shows.

In »Explorer« you will meet organisations, associations, activities, festivals, events and others that offer activities and education for people with developmental disabilities and special needs.

Here you can find knowledge and learn something. You can also see where and when different activities are taking place.

You can also participate in a lot of online activities with us. We do not think that online communities only take place from the sofa. That is why we have activities and tasks that you solve at home and share it in the community with the rest of us.
Even if we are not in the same place, we can easily have community online about it. And it's so much fun to see what the other friends have done.

The Kazboo Community:
• Is a closed system
• Has the option of a guardian account
• Has tools for blocking and reporting
• Uses selfie for friend approval
• Automatically block prohibited and inappropriate words
• Has active moderators and super users

We have changed our name... we are now called kazboo. The other name was far too difficult to say.

We have great news.
As our founder Signe is from Denmark, we have decided to update the »We are Friends« App with Danish language. This means that you can now join our safe community if you live in Denmark.
And as always, we have added the App engine a little oil so it's running smoothly.

First off all we have opened the Explore. This is the best place to find learning, activities, games, events, podcast and much more that we hope you will enjoy.

We also done some great changes on your profile. You can now easily navigate between post, friends, gallery and interest with the new taps on top of your feed.

For your entertainment we put in a few games for you to play. Let's see your top score.

And lastly, the audio and video player has been greatly improved. It was needed. Now it's easier to hear what the other person is saying and it's faaaaast ;-)

We do not like bugs so we caught a few with this update to make your experience better.

Hi friends,

We have 2 exiting features waiting for you in this update. You can now take photo and video directly in the App and if you want help and support from your guardian, we have added guardian account.

We also gave the App a good cleaning to get rid of some bugs hiding in the corners.
