Firm restrictions currently prevent any CarPlay app from displaying content on the dashboard. CarPlay apps must be voice activated and offer audio capability only, which is exactly what our app does. With the exception of navigation apps, CarPlay prohibits displaying content on the dashboard. Weather maps, forecast details and radar are not allowed. We are focused on creating the best hands free audio experience in vehicles in accordance with CarPlay guidelines.
Although our expertise is audio, we are meteorologists, so we offer all the tools you need to stay informed. Up-to-the-minute radar that loads quickly and zooms in to your specific location. Storm vectors that illustrate current storm location and storm movement.

Weather forecast information, maps, and your favorite locations are now more readily available at your fingertips. Widgets are now supported and can be customized to display any location you wish. Plus a wealth of new customization options, including complete control of units, what tab displays by default, and what map layer displays by default.

New Maps Products - Global radar, global rainfall amounts, and global snowfall amounts are now included and available for all locations around the world. Metric unit conversions are also available for each map layer.
Updated Storm Vectors - A newer design and presentation for all significant thunderstorm and tornadic events on the radar layer.
Touch Forecasts - While zoomed in on any map layer, except for radar, you can now tap on a marker and have the option to open a forecast on the home screen for the location that was tapped.
Article Search - A search bar has been added to the Articles screen, giving you the option to filter any and all articles with a few keystrokes.
Automated Appearance Theme - Utilizing your default forecast location's sunrise and sunset times, you now have the option to let the app decide when it will display its light and dark themes. With this option enabled, the light theme displays after sunrise until sunset, with the dark theme displaying after sunset until sunrise.
Expanded Notification Settings - You now have the option to configure push notifications for each saved location. You are no longer limited to having notifications display on your device solely for your home location. Notification settings for each location can now be accessed from the home screen as well.
