Version 2.0 delivers on many early promises:
- we have redesigned the interface and included many requested elements in reports
- cleaner presentation of the results, together with new statistics
- the new AI models greatly increase the accuracy of the detection
- the microscope can now be operated via a wired (Ethernet) connection: no more drop off, and way faster exchange of data between the microscope and the iPad
- talking about speed: we now run a full diagnostic in less than 100s!
- added a double graticule mode (enabled by default)
- easier and faster review mode
- integrates with our new control card: the motors are now silent and run faster
- iCloud backup of your diagnostic data

We have been hard at work to deliver some new, improved optics on our scopes and a range of features that they enable. So, the changes:
–minor bugs and UI fixes
–Increased the sensitivity of the detection to match our new optics
–Now available with US, UK, Canada, Australia, French, Belgium standards
–Added the possibility to define your own custom path
–Improved the sensitivity of the AI, particularly for overloaded samples and other hard to measure specimens
–The AI now detects and discards some molds that were showing up in some samples
–Improved the detection of gridlines and bubbles
–Added the fields reports required by some standards, and fields statistics, including the chi-square test to a Poisson distribution for both fibers and debris
–Added fibers statistics with a plot of their length vs diameter
As always, if you notice some specific features are missing, feel encouraged to ask!

This update brings up a number of additions, before we delve into the analysis of results a bit further:
- minor bug fixes and adjustments
- scale displayed should now be consistent between devices within 0.5%
- added the pseudo-random paths and sample geometry selection for Australia, UK, Canada, and Belgium (together with a 200 fields option for the later, sweet!).
As always, do not hesitate to let us know if something is missing...

Following our first users comments, we have made a number of improvements:
- minor bug fixes,
- added the possibility to swipe on the user to change to another user from the same institution,
- added the possibility to increment sample IDs automatically.
We are actively developing xRfiber to integrate it better into laboratory workflows, do not hesitate to request further improvement or features.
