Hello, Zero crew -
When we added the Four Pillars of Health last year, we included a new Calendar that tracks progress against Nutrition, Activity, Sleep, and Restoration. Thanks to your requests, with today’s release, we’ve unified the Fasting and Four Pillars of Health Calendars so you can easily track your progress over time, from one central experience.
Tapping on your Fasting Streak from the top left of Today will launch you into the fasting view of the Calendar (where you can check out a visual of your Streak and your fast average for the month), but you can easily switch tabs and track last night’s sleep, or this week’s string of logged activities. Tapping into the Calendar from Me defaults you into a Four-Pillar view where you can see your Balanced Days streak, as well as the total for the month.
Thanks for your feedback, Zero crew! We’re excited to get this new Calendar experience in your hands.

Hello, Zero crew -
In addition to the new features detailed below, this release also resolves a bug that caused the Fasting Timer to display a negative duration and another where some members were seeing inaccurate Zero Plus subscription costs in their local currency. It should also now be easier to set up Apple Health to import your chosen biometrics to better track your health journey.
Since 2016, Zero has helped millions of members create and maintain a fasting practice. While fasting is an excellent tool for achieving all sorts of health goals, that’s exactly what it is: a tool. If you’re committed to losing weight, gaining health, and boosting longevity, it’s crucial to zoom out from fasting and consider health as a whole.
That’s why we’ve expanded Zero to incorporate the Four Pillars of Health — Nutrition (which includes fasting), Activity, Sleep, and Restoration. Each Pillar can stand on its own, but they’re even more powerful when linked together into daily healthy habits, like eating a nutritious meal before your workout or starting your fast 2–4 hours before bedtime.
Fasting is still a major piece of the health puzzle, so in-app capabilities like the Fasting Timer will remain the same. You can also continue to expect fasting-related articles and videos. But to fully support your journey, we’re introducing two features that will help you balance your health and keep you on track: the Habit Tracker and the Loop. Update to this release to explore these new features, and head over to Explore to learn how to incorporate them into your daily health routine
Stay tuned for more updates based on your feedback, and please reach out to our Support Team at zerolongevity.com/support if you have any questions.

5.0.2
2022-12-14
Hello, Zero crew -
This release sets the foundation for transformative updates you’ll see over the coming months as we expand Zero to help you balance your health beyond just fasting. We’ll always help you with your fasting practice, and now we’ll also help you build habits around the Four Pillars of Health; nutrition, activity, sleep, and restoration.
We’ve made it easier to track your habits, right from the Today tab — simply tap on the “+” at the top right to add your weight, latest activity, or current mood. Your fasting calendar is also quickly accessed via Today — tap on the streak icon at the top left to check in on your recent progress. Your calendar is temporarily excluded from the Me tab, but it will return soon, and the Recent Fasts chart is back, so you can easily check in on your latest fasts.
We’ve also updated the Coach experience and brought the primary features to the Today tab. Soon, you’ll have a wealth of health guidance at your (literal) fingertips, accessible before, during, and after your fasts. The Coach tab and weekly plans have been removed, but you still have easy access to set Fasting Reminders for each day of the week. Just tap into Settings on the Me tab, and then turn on Notifications. From there, you can set custom reminders to match your fasting goal.
Updating your fasting goal is now easier than ever — just tap the button at the top right of your Timer ring to choose a new goal or create a custom preset.
We've also fixed a few bugs related to setting a weight goal in onboarding, ending or editing a fast, logging biometrics, and joining Challenges.
Stay tuned for more updates to the Zero experience based on your feedback, and please reach out to our Support Team at zerolongevity.com/support if you have any questions.
