ACEapp The Social Network Hack 3.1 + Redeem Codes

It’s better than I expected out of an app just for us aces. Since notifications got added I’m not missing as many messages as I was before, and most of the filters are what I’d expect from an app like this. My one complaint is the “baking cake” screen doesn’t allow us to look at someone’s profile w/o swiping right first, which seems extremely counter-intuitive for an asexual app, since the gut reaction to someone’s looks doesn’t really exist in quite the same way for us. More users would be nice too (Though I know that’s out of your control mostly), as would ability to filter out certain romantic attractions and other preferences. I’d also like more characters to describe myself in my profile, and I think more general checkboxes (like religion, political views, etc) would be nice

I had two conversations in my inbox and tried to delete one and it deleted the other one!! Luckily that guy sent another message. The next time I tried to delete the convo I didn’t want anymore the app crashed.
I don’t like that you have to swipe right to read the persons profile. It took me awhile to realize you had to do that because on most dating apps swiping right means you like them.
You also can only post one picture. It’d be nice if you could add more. I may not be sexually attracted to people but I still have a type and more photos of the people would be nice.
The app itself is just not as smooth as other dating apps. My suggestion toward this apps developers to download other dating apps and try to make yours more similar to theirs.
I appreciate the thought behind this app though and will still continue to support as it gets better.

I would love to say that I love this app, but I’m honestly disappointed. There are very few dating sites tailored to people of the asexual spectrum, and even fewer in app form (this is the only one I know of, actually), and there is still so much room for improvement. For one, I wish there was a way to keep yourself hidden from age groups older than the one you are interested in. In the past week I have been messaged by 3 men who are at least 15 years my senior, two of which claimed to be looking for a “sugar baby.” I came to this app hoping to have fun and meet some ace friends and maybe even find a romantic partner, I didn’t come to be creeped out by older men. Hopefully, if the app is improved over time I might give it another go, but for now I’ll just have to go about it the old-fashioned way, I suppose.

I’m asexual, and I think it’s a nice idea for ace people to have a dating app that also can be for just making friends, but the app itself is not the best. I’m not really sure what’s up with the Active Now section because it doesn’t seem like there’s much of a point to it, and the filters/settings for finding people are good but more character space in the profile would be nice.
If you try to delete your account it says it will be permanently deleted, but if you try to log in after you delete your account, it still comes up, so that needs to be fixed. I read somewhere that inactive accounts get deleted eventually, but I don’t know if that’s true.
It has good intentions, but could use some work.

I see there have been some updates, which are nice, but one thing that change was you had to provide last name as well. Not only that, but it's displayed on your profile, and you can't change it. Personally, I feel it's a bit invasive, and if I was aware I wouldn't have an option to hide it, I probably would've done something else like put "Last name" and say in my profile I'd give it out per request or something else. A little nervous this could lead to people searching for me on other platforms, which again I feel could become invasive. Hoping you all can give us the option to hide our last name if we want.

I like the idea of this app generally ig. it’s really hard to meet other ace people, there being so few of us, and this really is one of the only options out there right now.

However, my main complaints are lack of any sort of matching system. Being messaged out of the blue by someone much older than you is off putting, and not knowing when you reach out if a person is interested in you or even active on the app is scary.

The reporting system is also very bad. Instead of an option to report a user, you have to screenshot scam or inappropriate messages and send them to the dev team. And there are just a lot of scam-y people on this app.

My BIGGEST complaint however, is that there is no way to filter out people from seeing your profile. If I say I’m interested in 18-24 year olds, then only 18-24 year olds should be able to see and interact with my profile. If there was a matching system this wouldn’t be a problem, but I’m tired of men older than my dad trying to hit on me, or explaining to pushy 30 year olds that I’m too young for them. 😔 it makes for a really unsafe-feeling experience on the app.

I really like this app but it needs a lot of improvement. I feel like the makers just kind of gave up on this app. There’s so many people on that app that are not ace or aspec and it’s frustrating. Especially when you’re trying to meet people and all you get is fake sugar daddies trying to scam you out of your money. They think the app is meant for that type of stuff. It needs more protection and maybe verification to make it a safer place for fellow aces and aspec. Also the badge notification doesn’t work so you forget if someone ever messaged you. Also it would be nice if you got a notification when someone bookmarks you so that way it’s not as inactive.

There are many fake profiles on this app from users who clearly aren’t in the UK or US. These fake users take stock images of Caucasian people and pretend to be in the US/UK, but the broken English and grammar is a dead giveaway. They initiate messages by asking if you want a sugar daddy and asking to continue the conversation on a different app. If the user is less up front about the scam, they send very allosexual flirting messages, clearly misunderstanding the audience of the app. There isn’t a way to easily report people and high percentage of fake profiles leads me to think the developers didn’t think to build in safeguards to catch and delete these profiles. Matching and chatting with small percentage of actual asexuals on the app is a rare breath of fresh air, so I’ll give a star.

The idea of this app is amazing and I love being able to chat with other asexuals. As another review mentioned, it’d be nice to have an age range choice, but it’s not necessary. There are many times where it has crashed and that’s understandable considering it’s a beta (and under maintenance at the moment). The only issue that I think is really important is that it doesn’t send notifications... so hopefully that’ll be changed in later updates. Other than all that, I love it! It’s so great to see how many asexuals there are out there, even if there are none near me.

I’ve had this app for a couple years now and the app is constantly improving and I can easily contact the developers to report a bug. The problems that other reviewers reported are mostly already fixed since. I like that this app can get you more involved with the ace community since it’s free to talk to other aces. Other ace sites ask for your money to chat other aces 🙄 so that kinda defeats the purpose of meeting ace lol. I look forward to more updates and features of this app!
