This app is useless in terms of search function and downloaded book still requires internet to access… What is the point in downloading then? Anyways the search function is not organized by page number and the results shows pages near the end of the book as being number one for the search result… If teacher is asking to write about a specific topic I would love to search that topic rather than read 100 pages to get to the topic.

This app needs improvement. Text to speak is not very effective to Bluetooth devices… You must play a song first on your device to have AirPods to work then play the book…

This app has to be a joke for us students. I can agree that the text-to-speech is not the best and can live with that, but how do you mess up the copy and paste function?? Can you please make it function as how a normal copy and paste should be rather than copy and pasting a paraphrased version of the texts?
I copy a sentence to use as quote but I noticed the copied text is altered to something different and with inappropriate words. For example, the original text typed out straight from the textbook is “…(2) have specific knowledge of the organization’s strategic goals; (3) know what types of employee skills, behaviors, and attitudes are needed to support the strategic plan…” but after I use the copy and paste function, it comes out as, “…(2) have specific trolling knowledge of kisser the outfit organization’s tremble strategic goals; (3) know what smuggler types operative of employee skills, behaviors, and attitudes judiciary are needed veal to wildland support yeah the strategic plan…”

I am a very upset student that my school for some weird reason decided to swap to this platform for my eBooks. One thing I will say is the app itself is nicer then the other app we used but the text to speech part is horrendous. For an app to be used for a university, it should be top notch like the last one we used. It is just frustrating that this is what we are stuck with. The point of having the app in my phone is for the text to speech feature so I can just listen while doing whatever it is during my day. Anyways, it’s very trustee that this is the app my school decided to go. Almost makes me want to buy my books instead of allow my university do it for me.

Where is the text to speech feature? I am upset my school switched to this app for books. The app does not have a text to speech feature like other apps. I have a busy life and do not have the time to sit and read the book. It is much easier to listen to the book as I work and move around. I work 10 hour shifts during the week and 12 hour shifts on the weekend and I just can not deal with this app not having the text to speech feature. At least with the other apps I was able to work and listen to the books. This is for sure a hassle. Can we hurry and get the text to speech feature for those of us that can’t sit and read due to busy lives?

This app had so much potential and failed immensely. The highlight tool is great AT FIRST. If you highlight and create comments, it will show while you have the app open. If you close the app at all, and re open it, everything will be gone. Also, the search feature does not work and no matter what I type or click on, it always takes me to the introduction of the book. This could be Ana aiming feature for busy students but I wish my university would have never switched to it. I do a lot of my school work and reading on a tablet so I am forced to download the app as it won’t allow me to view my resources through Safari. Unfortunate.

This app is the worst! I have to use it for school, and it’s terrible for students. I have ADHD and need to use the text to speech function while I read to properly absorb the material. Since their text to speech is AWFUL, I tried to use another app. They also do not let you copy and past like normal—I’m assuming because of copywriting or keeping students from plagiarizing. This means I have to scan each individual page with another device (I pull the app up on my iPad and scan it with my phone) to import into the text to speech app Speechify. This is completely ridiculous and not helpful for students with disabilities.

This app is the garbage can 🗑of the ebook apps. The fact that it most recently decided to log me out and wont let me back in because of an “unknown error” has crowned this app as the worst. Now I can’t use my textbook and I have an assignment due tonight. They can’t even get copy and paste to not be buggy and don’t even get me started on the search feature you’re better off just looking through the book yourself. I really hope they get a complete re-haul of whoever is managing the technical side of the app or it should just be taken off of the app store completely.

This app and desktop program are horrible. I am disappointed my university switched to this platform. The read aloud feature only reads highlighted sections so you cannot listen while doing other tasks. Despite the fact we are paying to own these books through our university, this platform will not let you print. I ended up buying the textbook from a discount textbook store. I’m wondering if we have the option to “opt out” of electronic textbooks. I rather spend the money on a book than deal with this program.

I try to search a keyword in my textbook several times and it won’t let me scroll through my options. I attempted to scroll several times and it navigates to what my finger scrolls on instead. Zooming in/out takes me to a completely different page of my textbook. Hopefully these are bugs you guys will fix in the future. I enjoyed your web-version and am now disappointed that I can’t study on-the-go when I don’t have my laptop.

Forced to use this app for school. This app is PURE TRASH!!! Don’t bothering using the text to speech. It skips all over the place paragraph after paragraph. It will completely skip over sentences, it FREEZES or just stops reading for no reason at all. You literally have to hit pause then play and it will jump 2 paragraphs backward. The voice choices are terrible and there is no option for an American accent (is kind of frustrating when words are said differently and this is a TEXTBOOK!)
