I once wrote in a review that I would probably never rate an Omnisoft game less than 4 stars unless it were unplayable, because I just like them that much. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have attested, this one would probably be unplayable for most people (like me) without a walkthrough. I don’t mind the couple of “weird” puzzles per game that you typically find from this dev, because I can usually muddle through them to some satisfaction with an occasional hint, but this game set the frustration bar too high for me to jump. There was one puzzle whose solution made absolutely no sense even with the walkthrough, but at least it walked me through it. Most of the other solutions made some kind of sense in hindsight, but I had neither the foresight nor the patience to conceivably come up with several of them on my own. Is it worth playing? Yeah, there’s still some fun to be had from it, but I would put it last on my list to play, as most of the other ones in this series are really quite good.
