I am not a native English speaker but I enjoy playing this game a lot and would love to see some improvements such as:
- dark mode option
- including a manual to explain some things like how some words have a dot next to them and what does that indicate.
- explaining how the levels work because its kinda confusing, and even after playing the game for 2 months I don't get it. For example, in the TODAYS GOAL page, why is the top level highlighted, but then we play the bottom level? And why is it called todays goal if the levels never end? Shouldn't it just be numbered levels? Are the levels updated daily or are they always there in the system waiting for ghe player to reach the level?
- also, some synonyms just does not make sense at all, I wonder if they get checked by language experts.

Entertaining, Informative, and Challenging
Very well made innovative crossword puzzle game! I saw the game being advanced on instagram, and it is just as advertised. I ended up purchasing the game to rid of the constant ads, but it is honestly worth the buy. Im typically not one to leave reviews, or purchase games. But this game is so entertaining, and I love how after you solve the level, you are given extra insight into what trivia the main clue is based in! I probably won’t subscribe to the monthly subscription, because im not an avid crossword fan, but overall I love the game, the developers did a great job on it.
If I could give more stars I would, definitely recommend. 10/10!

I’ve never been one to write reviews but I love this game. And no, I’m not being paid by the company to write this.
I read some of these reviews and all the bad ones are for the adds and how “the ad payment doesn’t work.” Okay if you’re gonna pay 5 bucks to block adds on a game then that’s the first problem you got.
And yes, I admit the adds are really freaking annoying. It’s after every round. Which can be annoying but the game itself is amazing and I’m actually clicking on it and learning instead of using social media and losing brain cells.
But seriously, the only flaws are the adds which I understand and sometimes the questions are really hard but you can get hints which are helpful.
But in the end I love this game and I highly recommend it to someone who’s trying to learn a few extra facts. 5/5

!!! Major Flaw,
Deleted the app
I enjoyed the game except for a major flaw that spoiled the fun so I deleted the app. This game is designed so that as soon as the puzzle sentence is complete it goes straight to an advertisement, with no opportunity to review the clues. I played three games and solved all three by solving the puzzle sentence instead of the clue words and was very frustrated that I was unable to review the entirety of the fruits of my labor (the filled in clue words) so I deleted the app.
If they ever allow for a person to peruse the finished product (puzzle sentence and clue words) in its entirety upon completion, I would play this again. But, as it is currently designed it’s not worth the frustration. In their haste to shove an advertisement in my face they took away the most important part of playing which is enjoying the view of the field of victory. A very poor choice by the developers.

Literally unplayable because of an ad that will not go away
I never leave reviews on games or apps but I had to here. I played one round on this game then got an ad, totally normal. For some tiki solitaire game. No biggie.
Not interested in the ad, I let my phone sit for a minute waiting for an option to close the ad to appear. After 2 minutes nothing appeared, so I decided to play along and play the small demo for the game within the ad.
After finishing, the screen shifted to suggest I click to download the game from the ad. Not interested, I again let my phone sit waiting for an option to return to Crostic. Again, nothing happened.
Defeated, I clicked the option to download the ad game hoping it would make the ad go away and I could resume playing. No luck. Repeatedly for 5 minutes I tried pressing everywhere and anywhere on my screen, but it would only send me to the App Store to download this new ad game.
I have never removed a game from my phone so quickly, shame because I felt like this had potential. I have downloaded hundreds of games over the years and this is the first time I have ever given a 1 star review.
Not interested in the ad, I let my phone sit for a minute waiting for an option to close the ad to appear. After 2 minutes nothing appeared, so I decided to play along and play the small demo for the game within the ad.
After finishing, the screen shifted to suggest I click to download the game from the ad. Not interested, I again let my phone sit waiting for an option to return to Crostic. Again, nothing happened.

Overall, the game is easy to learn and play. There are more ads than I’d really like and sometimes they pop up at odd times. Most of the puzzles are rather easy, but occasionally a word or two will be more difficult to solve.
Besides the ads, my biggest complaint is that the ‘facts’ they show when you solve a puzzle aren’t always correct (like ‘Australia has poisonous snakes’ when they actually have venomous snakes). Not a super big deal, unless you like to remember the bits of trivia.

Love the game, hate the ad frequency
I understand that ads are necessary for earning revenue but goodness gracious! You open the app- get an ad. Select begin- get an ad. Complete the puzzle- get an ad. Read the trivia- get an ad. Go back to the home page to do nothing more than select begin again- get an ad! And these aren’t at all the brief ones that you can exit in 5-15 seconds. These long ads seem to be to intentionally annoy players into paying for the subscription. Well the annoyance part has been effective. Cool game but I have to uninstall as it causes more stress than it relieves.

The game is fine. I paid for no ads with it for 4.99. I still get an ad that comes up. It is one of the most annoying ads with all these people talking about how it has no ads. I hate the intrusion and I would like the 4.99 returned. This is the 2nd time I have bought a no ad subscription through this site and still had to put up with the ads. No Ads means NO ADS! Especially not an annoying one. I am very disappointed.

Not much fun
It is all about ads. When a puzzle is complete it switches immediately to ads, and there is no time to read the question, not even a second. After showing severals ads and opening new browser windows, the page comes back, but half of the time the original question you completed on the top is too long and half of it is cut off.
The only way to read it is when the puzzle is 98% complete. This gets boring fast.

No way to cancel
I downloaded this app and was bombarded with ads constantly. I was getting ready to delete it when an opportunity to get rid of the ads came up. At first I didn’t think it was worth it, but I kind of liked the game and thought why not? So I clicked on what I thought was a one time cost of $4.99 + tax. I didn’t realize I would be charged this amount ongoing!!!
I have sent an email, asked for a refund, and tried every way that I know how to cancel this so I’m not charged any more. So far - no response.
So, if you decide to get rid of the ads be very, very careful!
