Kinda....
Well I’m gonna start off with saying, on my screen it’s BLACK and in battle mode I can’t even see my own DINOSAUR! For my brothers phone it works perfectly. Why not for me!? Ok on the bright side the graphics are really cool and the dinosaurs to choose are awesome. Me and my family bought the book like a year ago maybe, and we were so excited to see the app and how it works but we never downloaded it last year (I don’t know why). Maybe I should delete and download again?? I don’t know. I’ll try.

Dino roars/glitches/update pls
I have a question Red Frog Digital Limited. Why does almost every Dino sound exactly the same? The only sounds I've heard are the T-Rex and the Velociraptor. It would be really cool if there were more sounds for the different dinosaur (i.e., like heard in Jurassic World) and even add additional sounds (i.e., like calls from the velociraptors ).There are a few glitches. Sometimes you can't see the dinosaurs and can't do anything with the Herrerasaurus. I look forward to updates to this app. The graphics are life-like and the ability to explore your yard and chase my grandmother's dog on my iPad or iPhone is fun .

Need to update the app if you’re still selling the book!
The graphics are really awesome, but the dinosaurs disappear often. The app has glitches, but it hasn’t been updated for 2 years. We bought the book at a school book fair 1 year ago, expecting that the app would work properly. It gets really frustrating for my son. He gets the dinosaur to come “alive” out of the book and then it just disappears. We can hear it, but can’t see it anywhere. Then we have to close the app to get a new dinosaur.

Can't do what it says it can
Wasted a good 45 mins trying to figure out how to work the app. Instructions on the app were almost useless - why don't they WRITE the directions instead of just showing pictures. If I wanted to follow directions with pictures, I'd buy furniture from IKEA. Cannot battle, which is why my son convinced me to purchase the book in the first place. Very disappointed. Too bad that by the time people find out that the app doesn't work - they would already have shelled out the bucks to buy the book.....unless they fix the app, seems like a case of bait and switch to me.

Black screen
We are having same issue of a black screen once my son selects single player. We did not allow access to other devices on the network as no other devices have the game downloaded. Is there a fix for this black screen issue?

App works, directions require some interpretation
This app works as advertised. We had trouble getting battle mode to work because we kept trying to use the page on which a selected dinosaur was shown (like in single player mode). Turns out we were supposed to scan the page where the directions for battle mode are displayed. Once we got that running, the kids had a grand time dunking it out with the dinosaurs for about 10 min.

The game is great overall, but the game just refuses to load when I open it. Please fix this bug.
Update: it works OK, but there are a few random crashes. Please fix these crashes.
Update 2: Ok Red Frog Digital, this is my second update. I got my Dinosaur battle book from my Sam Houston school's book fair. I know that the crash was most likely because two phones were not connected. But how do I battle with another?

It works
Son loves it!! Instructions aren't super clear but they are correct. We have used battle on iPhones and iPads with no issues. Player 1 has to enter battle first making sure dinosaur appears on the instructions page. Then player 2 will be able to find player 1 and enter battle.

Pretty Dang Cool But...
This app is so COOL! With virtual dinosaurs battling before your eyes it's just when me and my friends try to connect you have to do every thing very specifically for it to work and sometimes it takes forever to load and sometime glitch out the dinosaurs like crazy but besides that It's Amazing And Love It So Much!

Waste of money
My son REALLY wanted to buy this book from his schools book fair. We brought it home and realized you need two devices to battle. For some reason his tablet won't work, it can't even find the app in the AppStore. We used two iPhones next and even that wouldn't work to get them to battle. Total waste of money and really disappointing to him. We'll keep trying but I really wish we would've bought the other dinosaur books he was looking at.
