Need help factoring or want extra practice? This is the app for you.
This app will factor any quadratic or cubic equation, including step-by-step instructions. It's the perfect tool if you want to check your work or learn how to factor.
Think you're a pro at factoring? Switch to Test mode and take a test. You can decide what types of questions should be on the test and how many questions there should be. We'll do the rest.
Want to check your homework as you go? Switch to Quick Check mode and you can type in a problem, then type in your answer to see if you're correct. If you're wrong it'll give you the option to see a step by step tutorial on how it should've factored.

After taking forever to update this, Factor This is back, and completely new! What's new? How about all these things.
*Completely new interface, which allows it to work with all types of iPhones and iPads (including split screen on the iPad).
*Added factoring of cubes, so you can now factor problems by taking out a GCF, trinomials (with and without an A value), difference of squares, sum and difference of cubes, and grouping.
*Created a Test and Quick Check mode to go along with Tutorial mode. Now, not only can you type in a problem and it'll show you step by step how to factor it, but you can also test yourself in our Test mode. You decide what types of problems and how many questions you have to get right, then it'll give you a test.
In Quick Check mode, you can type in a problem and an answer and it'll tell you if you're right. If you're wrong, it'll give you the option to see a step-by-step explanation of what happened.
