This release contains the new PitchFuzz algorithm for the H9. PitchFuzz is a multi-effects algorithm combining Fuzz, three Pitch Shifters, and two Delays into one, easy to use effect. Fuzz is the first effect in the signal path. The Fuzz gets its inspiration from classic analog fuzz pedals as well as Eventide's own CrushStation and Sculpt algorithms. The Pitch Shifters come second in the signal path and are based on Eventide's PitchFlex Algorithm from the PitchFactor pedal. The Delay section is last in the signal path and its lineage can be traced back to the Vintage Delay algorithm in TimeFactor. The two Delays can be added to the entire output signal following the Pitch Shifters or added individually to two of of the pitched voices only, creating arpeggiated type effects.

Seems to be working OK now
UI still needs an update, but it’s very functional and thank God they fixed the BT connectivity problems. It’s really convenient to be able to program your H9’s without having the stoop down and fiddle with knobs forever. This is Eventide’s biggest advantage over competitors like Strymon.

Eventide H9 is a high quality product in build, sound, and capabilities.
This pedal is capable of having practically every peffect known. Each effect is cleaner than almost every dedecated pedal out there.
It can be controlled from an iphone or ipad ( nice to not have to bend over all the time). I have 2, and was able to get rid of most of my other pedals. l would advise anyone considering investing in one or more to do a deep dive into what it does and how to configure it to meet your needs.
This pedal is capable of having practically every peffect known. Each effect is cleaner than almost every dedecated pedal out there.

Semi update but info is illegible
Slight update in making the UI seem a bit kore modern, but same functionality as previous versions (although I don’t remember the landscape view from the older version, and having all knobs on one screen is helpful).
However, the info part for each algorithm is now in a tiny (!) font size that is unreadable on a phone (and still in Times New Roman, while the rest of the app is a sans serif).

It just works!
This is an awesome APP! One APP you’ll ever need to harnest the power of your H9! Very stable and very intuitive.
It would have been better if they will update the app design because until now it is based on the very old iOS design, but still that doesn’t made me blew out some stars off on this review, IT JUST WORKS and that’s all I need!

Works great and I love it! I don’t see the appeal of certain features though.
I’ve had the H9 for a few weeks now and couldn’t be happier. Everything in the app just works and it has a very good design. I don’t see the reason to add the tilt controls and stuff but I suppose, “why not?” I’m a fan of this product and this app.

Deletes H9 control file from iPad
App works ok but every time I use the app, it deletes the H9 Control folder where I have downloaded preset files when it starts. If I save something, I get a new H9 Control folder.

Needs multitasking support
This app desperately needs multitasking support on the iPad. It’s nice it finally knows where it was when you switch back to it. But needs to have the ability to split screen.

Functional, but really needs an update to the UI
The app does what it's supposed to do. But come on, Eventide. The larger screen iPhones have been out for more than three years now. It's time to update that copy of XCode, and get cracking on a new GUI.

Buggy!
Constantly wants me to log in, when you do so a message pops up saying the sever is down! Not sure if i would trust it playing live! For now i will keep it USB only.

Absolute garbage. Eventide won’t let you connect until they get their greedy lil hands on your precious email address but then their registration process has glitches making so you cannot connect at all. Thanks for the quality products guys.
