This app only works properly when used with the Honeywell Bluetooth®Smart Air Purifiers (Model series: HPA250, HFD360, HPA8350). It will not work with any other Honeywell devices or appliances.
When used with the Honeywell Bluetooth® Smart Air Purifiers, this app will enhance your air purifier user experience by offering features that can only be accessed through the app. In addition to the core benefit of functioning as a “remote control” from your mobile device, the app offers the following enhanced features not offered on the air purifier device alone:
•Connectivity to AccuWeather.com for pollen and mold levels in your zip code
•Automatic operation of the air purifier based on the current allergen levels in your zip code, offering personalized allergen capturing performance
•Up to three personalized schedules to select when you want to run the air purifier and at what cleaning level
Optional daily/or high level allergen alerts based on AccuWeather.com local pollen and mold levels
•Optional proximity sensing that will automatically turn your air purifier off when you leave home and then on again when you return (in/out of Bluetooth® range)
•Indicators that show how dirty your filters are getting and notifications that advise you when it is almost time to change the filters
•Direct links to purchase your replacement filters, eliminating guesswork and saving you time
•Direct links to deals and offers that may periodically be offered such as coupons or offers on other Honeywell portable appliances
•Direct links to product support such as an on-line user’s manual and product registration
Honeywell Bluetooth® Smart Air Purifiers will help clean the air in a room, effectively capturing up to 99.9% (AirGenius 6 - HFD360B) or 99.97% (Doctor’s Choice True HEPA - HPA250B, HPA8350B) of particles as small as 0.3 microns from the air that passes through the filters. All Honeywell air purifiers are independently tested and verified by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers for 5 air changes per hour in the stated room size. They also feature activated carbon pre-filters that help reduce common household odors such as those from pets, cooking and smoke. With multiple cleaning levels, a 1-18 hour auto shut-off timer, touch screen control panels and an automatic setting that senses VOCs and optimizes the air purifier’s performance to help reduce VOCs, these air purifiers can fit beautifully into any room in the house.

App useless
None of the links worked on the app, 404 error messages on all of them. Can’t order filters or read the manual. I realize this is Bluetooth, and is limited in its capabilities as opposed to Wi-Fi. Bought a Winix unit at Cosco, Wi-Fi, great functionality and very quiet. Scheduling on the Honeywell is terrible! Come on Honeywell, you are the industry standard in the air business for years. You are way better than this product.

A useful app with a HUGE flaw
Why can't I enable multiple schedules at the same time? I want this thing to run on low at night and a higher speed during the day. I can't do that. Also, the proximity feature would be useful if you let me select whether to turn the unit on or off when out of Bluetooth range. I would also like to be able to make it run at a higher speed when I am out of range. Again, I can't do any of that. Also, when I override the schedule, as in selecting a higher speed, it disables the schedule selected. That's dumb. Please go back to the drawing board with this app.

Scheduling bug/flaw
Works fine for me with one major exception. You can't schedule the unit for overnight operation. You can have it turn on, say, at 7am and off at 7pm. But you cannot have it turn on at 7pm and off at 7am. Clearly some amateurs involved in the app programming; I guess that was too difficult for them. Glad I got this unit for a good discount on Prime Day.
Update - looks like they fixed the scheduling piece. Will see how it works in practice. But now I'm getting daily alerts even though I only have "high" level alerts set.

Schedule
I wish there was a way to add more schedules for different days and different times of the year so you don’t have to change the whole schedule for when it comes (for example) fall season you would like a different schedule but you don’t want to change the whole thing every year.

It works!!!
After a week of trying to connect this app to my IPhone it actually works. You first have to press the Bluetooth button on the air purifier, then press CONNECT on your phone, finally And most importantly hold down the Bluetooth bottom on the air purifier. Simply pressing the Bluetooth button will not work.

I wish it had an update
Would there be any possiblity to have the app be programmed twice a day rather than just once? I might want the purifier to run on high during the day, but at night at a quieter speed. Right now it is just one setting for the day. Since the app is controlled by the smartphone it could be worked that way. It would be a great help.

OSX App
Please would you publish a simple OSX app to do the same? I have no iPhone and would like for my desktop to be able to control the purifier for example setting it to the appropriate level depending on local conditions even while I am not at home. Also I have 2 of these purifiers so please let it support multiple purifiers.

This is cool as hell
You can just sit on your couch and turn it on and off, also can set a schedule for it to run on a daily basis, I set mine from 4pm -6pm so when I get home my living smells fresh. It also tells you what condition your filters are in, super cool!! Nice job Honeywell.

Obviously by the reviews and customer ratings, the developer needs to look into restructuring the app. None of the links with the app are accurate. Every time I click on the link within the app, it says it can’t display the page.
My filter needed to be changed and the app showed it was still green. Consumers paid a lot of money for this machine. We expect our money worth.

Great features...if they worked
I love the convenience and features of the app. However, like much more dated posts, the schedule doesn’t work for anything that crosses a date boundary - firmware issue? But no way to update it. Also Allergen Auto-Set doesn’t seem to be linked to Allergy Alert preferences.
