Description
Horse Diary is built for horse owners.
The horse data is stored securely and permanently in the cloud, ensuring that only authorized persons have access to this data.
Horse Diary is a multi-user app. Anyone can install the app on their devices and create virtual stables themselves. But if you want to share your data with others, i.e. work in a team, then you can give invitations to your friends, employees or customers. These together form the team of a "virtual" stable.
The team consists of all those people who have been granted access to the app's data. In doing so, however, individual differences are made. Each team member is assigned a role that regulates their rights with regard to the data and functions of the app.
There are four different roles:
1st owner
2. Administrator
3. Team member
4th guest
A guest is allowed
1. See the horses and read their master data, but do not change them.
2. See the contacts and read their master data, but do not change them.
3. Read notes, write your own notes and also change or delete them. He can only read other users' notes.
A team member may also
1. Create, change and delete horses.
2. Record, change and delete vaccinations, wormer cures, shoeing and medical treatments of a horse.
3. Create, change and delete contacts.
An administrator may also
1. Create users and assign roles and also delete users. But do not appoint an administrator.
There are no restrictions for the owner
1. In particular, only he can create administrators and create virtual stables.
A virtual stable is a summary of data about horses, contacts, notes, tasks and appointments. There is no overlap and no data exchange between different stables. They form a closed unit. This enables you to have your own stables as well as being part of the team of another stable.
Invitations
As the owner of a stable, you can create invitations. For this you need the valid email address of the person you want to grant access to. You also specify whether it should be a guest, a team member, or an administrator. The invitee must accept the invitation.
Why credit points?
You only pay to use Horse Diary. Credit points are used up every time the database is accessed, such as reading, writing or deleting. In addition to these transaction costs, credit points are deducted for the costs of using storage space, this is done on a time basis.
If you set up a new stable, you will receive 1,000 credit points as a starting balance. This enables you to start with the app for free and test it in peace.
The credit points are tied to the stable, so everyone in the team can buy credit points. Everyone in a stable team can also use the Horse Diary app, regardless of whether he or she has earned the credit points.
