Inspyre™ by SmartMonitor is a patented, intelligent motion-detecting and alerting app. The Inspyre pairs with Apple or Samsung watches to detect abnormal motion patterns that are akin to convulsive seizures. When the app detects seizure-like motions, it instantly alerts caregivers via text message and call alerts, ensuring that the user gets help on time. Additionally, the app gathers comprehensive data from events (date, time, duration, intensity, audio, and parameters in graphical form) which can then be shared with doctors/neurologists to aid in providing better care.
Inspyre also features a ‘summon help’ emergency button, GPS location in the text message alerts, medication reminders, heart rate recording and symptom reporting functionalities. The motion alert app allows for motion sensitivity alterations, allowing the user to adjust the sensitivity and duration of movement they would like the Inspyre to detect and alert upon, which can minimize false alarms during the day time and pick up on slighter abnormal motions during periods of sleep. The other poor reviews don’t know how to log-in properly. please read my review
When you have submitted your subscription the app works flawlessly and seems to learn from your body.
Some people left poor reviews stating they couldn’t get logged in or get a response from customer service. I was able to log in the day after my payment was processed and my subscription started. The app does work and customer service was so responsive they actually care about you and I received responses within 2 hours at the longest.
I suggest if you have one arm that moves more than the other, for example when I have a grand mal seizure my family says that my right arm starts convulsing first and that it always moves upward a convulses harder than my left arm, I switched my Apple Watch to my right wrist to be more accurate with abnormal motion detection.
While my legs lock up and convulse. Every muscle in my body seems to convulse during a grand mal. But it usually starts with my right arm, which I why I switched my watch to my right wrist as it starts there. I may have auras first and not have enough time to respond or yell for help, SmartMonitor alerts my contacts (husband & mother) immediately.

Recommended for parents and guardians
The app is a really nice way to keep an eye on your child without having your life and routine put on hold. I used to run to my child's room at the slightest sound and would be semi-asleep at night for weeks on end in the fear that my child was seizing. I can't tell you what a help this app has been and the peace it has brought all the members of our household. I don't really need all the extras that come with the gold version, I only use the bronze version. However, if there was an extended version, that just gave you the extra access to alerting more contacts, for maybe a couple of dollars more per month, I would consider upgrading to that.

Tracking my grandmother's seizures
The Inspyre App by SmartMonitor has alerted us about our grandma's seizures accurately everytime. We purchased the subscription as a gift and have been connected to the app for over a year. There were many instances where the app is the only way we have been alerted about her seizures. The app has also stored important data that is resourceful for her medical records including audios, seizure duration and more. We trust in the app and encourage all families to purchase the subscription plan for their loved ones.

Disappointing and waste of time!! I rated 1 🌟 but it’s not even that zero 🌟
I was extremely excited about this kind of an app as I hoped it could detect seizures. I was looking forward to being able to possibly have more freedom and give me and my family some piece of mind. Especially if I’m alone. My son discovered it and made sure it was downloaded onto my phone and watch immediately. Well unless you develop a way to actually REGISTER, then this is a completely useless app. Why would you develop something so promising but forget the key element allowing the user to register. I’m not sure if that was intentional just to be jerks or access cell phone information. Regardless, this is nothing more than a complete waste of time and space. Way to mess with people who are chronically ill by giving some false hope and sense of security. Take the program down!! Jerks!

Best subscription gift for my husband
I purchased the Inspyre app's subscription for my husband in December 2021. He experiences frequent seizures and I needed a resourceful tool that would keep a track of his episodes. The Inspyre app has been very helpful with the timely alerts, capturing of audios, tracking the body movements and seizure duration. Definitely provided the best functionality and I look forward to renewing my subscription. I recommend the app for all who are looking forward to keeping track of their loved ones seizures.

Best annual plan for seizure alerts
Our Godchild got diagnosed with sleep seizures earlier last year, we decided to purchase the Inspyre app annual subscription plan as a Thanksgiving gift for her. It's been over a year since we purchased the app and have also renewed the subscription. The app is connected to her smart device and it always alerts us when she experiences even the slightest abnormal body movement. The app also stores important data that is resourceful for medical records. We highly recommend the app

This app does what it says
I’ve read all the negative reviews and I cannot see where they are coming from. If you do what is required on the site then this app serves its purpose. I’ve had this for over a year and the emergency alerts sent to my contacts, along with a GPS location of the events, are a lifesaver. Along with the automatic log of the events and medication reminders are helpful (because it’s not hard to remember to take your seizure meds. It’s just so easy to forget). This I highly recommend to anyone.

Absolutely amazing app!
Absolutely amazing app once you take the time to learn what you can do with it. Sometimes looses connection with my watch, but that could also be an issue with my phone instead. Two suggestions that would make this app perfect - one, create a guest log in feature so that parents/spouse/partner can log in and view the information without being charged a fee. Also, create a real-time way for doctors to see data.

Reliable, accurate and precise app for seizures
My 8 y/o brother recently got diagnosed with epilepsy after having a seizure during a football game. His teammate's mom told us to consider getting the Inspyre app to keep a track of the medical information. We decided to purchase the annual subscription and it has been very helpful with tracking his seizures. The app's functionality is reliable and precise for all seizures. We would encourage all families to purchase the annual subscription.

Resourceful app for seizure alerts
As someone who experiences seizures and abnormal body movements frequently, I wanted my family and caregiver to stay alerted about the same no matter how close or far they were. I have connected the Inspyre app to my smartmonitor device and I am beyond grateful for the functionality of the app. The app's alerts have always been accurate and on time.
