Nice
It includes N5-N1 materials. The quiz setup works smoothly.
The man who never was,
Seemed like a good idea but ...
Well, this apparently has 100-question quizzes for each level in each of kanji, vocab, and grammar. Each question is timed, so if you run out it advances to the next question automatically. Kanji? You got 30 sec. Vocab? 30 sec. Grammar? Yeah, 30 sec. So exactly how you're supposed to prepare for the test if you don't have enough time to answer, especially since you have more than 30 sec. for each question on the test, I don't know. Also, some of the kanji is so small and detailed that I couldn't even read it. And there was plenty of white space around it so it could have been larger. No options, and upon opening it flashes through the splash screen in a split second so I couldn't read that either. If you close a quiz without finishing all 100 questions and open it again, it starts all over again at 1 of 100. Never mind that to finish a quiz of 100 would take 50 minutes ... I mean really, who has 50 min. at one sitting? And whether you get it right or wrong, the end of the button just turns red or green just before it automatically advances to the next question. No time to learn from your mistakes. So any time you spend wondering what you got wrong is now eating into your 30 sec. for the next question. Sure it's free, but sometimes things are free for a reason. Don't waste your time with this one; there are a lot better apps out there.
MGrei,
Only one complaint.
This is a great app. Thank you to the creator of it! My only complaint is that for the JLPT N5 study, there are kanji on the practice test that an N5 student wouldn't even know(For example "最近/recently" was in the N5 vocab test on this app. "最" = N3 kanji and "近" = N4). It would be nice if there were furigana above higher grade kanji. Or Atleast an option to put in on or take off. Of course you can always just pick up a kanji dictionary to find out what your quiz question is asking, but that kinda ruins the point of there even being a time frame on the quiz....
Mrs. 宮里,
Ok
The levels don't match what they would have on a JLPT test. I took the JLPT N5 and I was trying the N5 level grammar and vocabulary. There was kanji on there that wouldn't even be on the N5 test. And the questions I miss, it just tells you the right answer and moves directly to the next one. It would help if it gave you time to review why you got it wrong. Some of the words I don't know, so I can't find out the meaning of it doesn't let me go back and review.
ashuri89,
Good for reading, but...
Same as everyone else, I'm bummed out by the lack of any ability to learn from mistakes. I didn't even realise I was getting questions wrong until I noticed my score. However I do think the 30 sec/question rule is a good one, and it does get you prepared for reading loads of questions at a time.
mhanqv,
the app is good but crash
thank you for your app. it's great. but while I'm practising N3 kanji, the app crased when I reach to a
question "the biggest zoo on the world is in". plz fix this bugs. thank you
Razan Azuddin,
Why no quiz review?
It'll be most helpful with my study if there is review for each question I answered. Because right now, if I answered a quiz wrongly, I don't know which answer is correct, not even a glimpse of it. Plus, the timer image is cut off at the top part, I'm using iPhone6 btw. Please make it happen, developer-san.
★Strawberrie★,
Nice study but needs some improvement
Same as the other reviews, it would be nice if I could learn what the answer is. Also the app keeps crashing on me that I'm unable to finish a quiz
Xuân Sơn,
Good app for people to learn Japanese
App should pause 3 seconds on the wrong answered question. Sothat people can reviews the reason.
Thanks Author.
Caritoleivac,
Crashes
Too bad...
