Kanji Quizzer Hack 2.0.4 + Redeem Codes

I wish I had this when I was doing my JPLT. That was back when there was 4 levels and there were only 3 of us that were neither Korean or Chinese taking the level 1 in Kyoto University. At that time it was before we had apps and stuff and I had to write out flash cards.
I got this for my daughter as I was looking for some fun quiz to do with her Japanese homework. She is having trouble keeping the up with the kids in Japan as doing homework is the only time to practice and she isn’t exposed much otherwise even with reading kids manga. We just started and her level 5 is pretty polished now and she can move to level 4.
The way to make this perfect is if you could also choose to separate by grade level as it isn’t the same.
I would totally buy again if we could get by grade level as well.

I initially struggled to remember directly from anti. Since I’d only use it in the morning and after my reps, I wouldn’t see the Kanji I learned as frequently, so I’d often have a foggy memory of them.

This app helps me do quick refreshers throughout the day, and aided in me really getting Katakana (something I, for some reason, have always struggled with despite studying for almost 7 months+)

Thanks for this app, and glad I came across it. Definitely recommend if you’re starting out or even more advanced.

First of all I found this app from the website! I was using the website version on my pc but I wanted to use it on the go and discovered the app. I decided to purchase all levels so I can progress farther.
The issue I ran into was it not giving me access to the levels I just bought. I checked my iTunes account and it showed the purchase, but no matter what they wouldn’t give me access, even after trying to restore purchase
But the fix was to restart my phone, so if you run into this issue try that!!

I definitely recommend this app for a quick refresher or studier on the go 🫶

1. Simplicity is best, that’s why I love your app.

2. It is understood that kun readings are in hiragana, on readings in katakana, and English words, well English. There is no need to spell this out on every flash card. Because of this, the card has become very crowded, the Japanese font smaller and much harder to read (the super scripts are basically invisible)

Your app really is 5-star, but it was better readable before the recent design change.

3. Another minor thing: there is no way to reset everything to zero. I cycle through all 2000 kanji in about 20 days, then I have to delete the app and reinstall and restore past purchases, to reset everything.

I already purchased all the kanjis before, but now it won’t restore it no matter how many times I try.

EDIT: I appreciate the response from the developer. It was my account that I’m using and the app was telling me it was restored even though the lessons are still locked. After many tries, it finally worked. Not sure what the issue was... Anyway, I do like this app for reviewing Kanji. It’s easy to use and the kanjis are sorted by JLPT. I just wish there’s an option to reset the quizzes so I can see my progress over time.

I like this app a lot! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while. Glad to find it.

Suggestions for a future update:

1. It would be very helpful to show different scores for going from Kanji to English and then for English to Kanji? I am much better at picking the matching Kanji than picking the matching English word.

2. Is it possible to clear a score back to zero, effectively starting that kanji group over?

3. It would also be nice for the app to keep track of the my most troublesome kanji in each group so I could practice just those in isolation.

Overall, I do like this app very much. I will be using it everyday for a long time!

These features, after using the app for 10 minutes, would be awesome:

1) rapid fire mode - auto advance to the next question when the answer is correct.
2) swap English and Japanese
3) randomize the kanji font

This is one of the best apps for Japanese learners—thanks for putting it together. I highly recommend this app for all people who are preparing for the JLPT. I have three suggestions which imho would make the app even better.

1. Add a feature that allows users to take quizzes with random kanji based on user progress.

2. Develop the vocabulary aspect of the app. You can maybe add vocabulary quizzes for the sets.

3. Instead of always viewing the high score for the sets give the users the option to view the latest score on the sets or provide the score progress for individual sets.

So far it’s the easiest to use and most efficient app for this. Really helps you learn what you need to learn. Allows you to go back through what you missed to focus on the differences. The paid portion of the app is very reasonable as well. 5 star

You will quickly want to spend the two bucks for the in app purchase to get all levels. No frills, but effective little app. Support this developer. Does exactly what you’d want it to.
