I have been reading all your reviews, thank you for all your feedback.
The 50:50 battle odds have been scrapped for relative battle odds and this update includes a fix for a bug which was causing the interface to freeze.

Main Updates
• New relative battle odds, for example:
• 4 vs 1 = 80% chance of victory
• 3 vs 1 = 75% etc.
• New "Treasure Chest" item. Contains either resources, a knight or a settlement.
• Save files now restore "Discovered" areas of the map.
• Fixed an issue causing the interface to freeze.
• Fixed an issue preventing loading of save files.

• Balances to Quests difficulty.
• Added "Rally Point" and "Treasure Chests" to the tutorials.
• Knights & Castles flash red when taking damage.

Great Beta Game
Lots of fun. Computer seems too easy.
Bugs: - When editing a map, if you hit the settings wheel, the generate button is misplaced and can’t be clicked (I had to restart the app). - No multiplayer matches seem to happen. - The computer can be defeated with a simple strategy. My strategy, roughly: - Place farms first, as many as possible. Research farming first. - Explore toward the enemy, placing castles to include the resources needed most. - If the map is mazey, keep castles somewhat near each other to make defense easier, not scattering them sparsely. - Once the enemy is reached, provide only a single 1-width channel to enemy. Fill it with 4-count knights. Upgrade combat, and begin taking enemy castles. - If the enemy gets threatening, protect castles by keeping 4-count knights pinned on them. Proceed to take enemy castles as the primary way to have more castles. The computer seems to generally not be smart enough to build sufficient land paths or accumulate enough knights near castles to effectively counterattack. Sometimes when I have a computer ally I refrain from building toward the enemy, because they do instead, and it’s much easier to have only one access path.

Love this game and the potential!
Just want to start off by saying I love how this games plays! It’s a very fun game that is easy to play and learn. What I am really looking forward to in this game is potential of making these randomly generated worlds really come to life and be fun to explore. What I would like to see in the future is a major overhaul of the over world. Including things like unique biomes when a world generates, natural structures within those biomes and animals and plants that really make every random world unique. Being able to explore a thick tree forest, to a mountain continent, to a hot desert would be very cool. I think having some generated structures on the map that a player can explore ( little towns, caves, towers, ruins, etc) that give the player something when explored would also add to the excitement of exploring the world. Finally, a weather system with rain, snow, lightening and thunder would also really help being the world to life. Also being able to make your castles bigger, more impressive, look unique could also be cool as it would make each kingdom feel unique. I feel like additions like these would really help the game stand out. Like I said above, very excited for the potential of this game. Great work so far!

Enemy, ally and your own troops have terrible pathfinding and get stuck on each other, not being able to pass through allied troops. The game starts off easily enough and slowly gets more difficult, until you hit the paywall. Once you hit the paywall and have to watch ads, the games difficulty ramps up considerably. You can merge troops up to for times, to have an four star army. Yet, I’ve seen numerous times where your own four star troops get wrecked by one star enemies! Play for a few stages and then delete.”

Updated Review: Game balance has been fixed and you don’t get stomped by inferior army. Pathfinding has improved, but still has some issues. Chests randomly spawning in the world add a welcomed randomness and exploration incentive.
I deleted this game and forgot about it. The dev actually responded to me very first review and I decided to give it a second look and I’m glad I did. Thank you to the dev and I even bought the game instead of playing free. Good job and keep up the work, you have something special that can get even grander.

I made a review previously and I was quite aggravated so here is a better and more constructive review.

The tutorial doesn’t explain the controls or game very well, and buttons need labels. The troop rallying isn’t explained very well so it ends up that all troops converge on one point. When this happens it makes it impossible to fight on multiple fronts. By the time I move from one front to the other, the first fronts troops are already walking across the map to get to the rally point. If it was better explained on how to make specific troops rally at specific points, that would be very helpful. I’m on the last few levels and still haven’t figured out how that works.

The game is very enjoyable, I just can’t figure everything out which makes the game frustrating. I love the idea of allowing the rest of the game unlocked with the option of free with ads or paid. It’s nice to have access to the first half ad free and the second half paid for or with ads. Overall, I enjoy this game a lot and would love to see it expanded and improved. Thanks so much!

Simple and fun, but maybe a little *too* simple.
The core gameplay is fun, and that’s the most important part of any game. However, I’m curious as to whether it was intended to be as frantic and stressful as it gets when you have to manage everything at once. I also don’t quite understand how roads are placed. As far as I can tell, a soldier will place a road if they move to a clear tile after they’ve been spawned, but they won’t place it if you move them back onto the castle and move elsewhere.

Some consistency to make winning battles consist of more than just upgrades and prayer would also make things a little more satisfying. No crazy detailed stuff, of course, but at the very least a little transparency on what is going on in a battle; what each side’s chances are and why things are happening. I want to know what the odds were for my one soldier to beat three others.

But again, very fun at its core, wouldn’t change fundamentally how the game plays. Looking forward to your future work.

This is a fun little game to play. There are a few things that can get annoying though. I think when I command a unit to go somewhere they should stay there until commanded otherwise. Units should only initially follow the rally point once spawned. Once given a command, the ability to default back to rally should be canceled unless specifically ordered to follow the rally. Just a thought to re program the stay button. Also, if I command a unit with the stay button deselected to go somewhere and it merges with a unit with stay activated en route, the unit will move to the commanded point. This has caused me to lose bases that would otherwise be defended. I also believe units should be able to enter a base when an enemy has killed a defending unit and is directly attacking a base. Otherwise I love this game. Great job.

I really like the concept of this game and I really want to see how it grows but, there are a lot of things that I find frustrating and somewhat annoying for example: the navigation system, I like that there’s a zoom which allows you to see more of the map but I find it very annoying that all to controls disappear the game lets us see too little of the of the map which makes it harder to play and the controls seem like they are all Cramed together which makes it even harder to see and when you try to zoom out all the controls disappear and you can’t see how many recourses you have. I think that one way to resolve this issue is to allow the player to “pinch” to zoom in and out while still keeping the resource indicator. This is one of the biggest issues.
To sum it all up I think that this game will be a lot more fun if these issues get fixed and I hope that my opinion is helpful and if you actually read through all that great job :) (it ended up being a lot longer than I was thinking sry).

The perfect staple for a modern mobile game
This is an amazing little game with plenty of content for someone wanting to kill time. This game matches everything you would want out of a mobile game, plenty of playtime between advertisements, no pop up adds or banner adds to block up the game. The last note about the adds is that the game feels like they are just to help the creator and they are not a giant cashgrab like the VooDoo made games. This masterpiece has 75% of the game available for free and the last 25% available for purchase, a happy combination to let people really enjoy the game. The gameplay itself has little quirks but the fact you can actually play a majority of the game without playing and getting destroyed by advertisements or paying makes this great!!

I have purchased the last levels because I love it and the developers greatly deserve it and I will be waiting to see what other games they make!!

Absolutely Love This Game!
This game is simple yet challenging in the late game. I haven’t bought plus yet but I plan to as soon as I’m finished with the quests. This game is nearly perfect in my eyes but if you’re open to suggestions I would love to see a PvP, higher level castles, and maybe army formations. Now I know that seems pretty different than the other two but I always find myself building a decent sized army before attacking my opponents. Being able to create groups of soldiers and set them in formations would be amazing. I also love to surround my enemies and place the soldiers around them in guard mode to see how the ai reacts. Maybe creating a feature where the troops in said formation will automatically reinforce the troops in the frontline as they fall in battle. Just a few suggestions I would love to see added but even if they aren’t I will still love this game. Very unique and interesting rts. You don’t see many like this nowadays. Thank you

Great game
Super fun game, nice concepts. Love the land generator part of it and that towards the middle and end your land blocks regenerate really fast, just makes it more fun.

The challenge does go pretty flat pretty fast. Only time I ever lost a game was the one where you have an ally that is separated from you and Tan kept taking him out super fast. Other then that, never lost a match at all. Kinda bummed out about that cause I beat the game pretty quick and I’m not dropping three bucks for 6 more minutes of gameplay.

Tech tree is nice and simple, nice bit of micro with planting corn. Don’t like that your troops auto destroy enemy corn, usually you are queuing troops to take castles or push and you want that corn for yourself.

There needs to be one more zoom setting ( close up, mid, and FULL map view).

The edges of the map need to be more clearly defined so you know which way to push at the start or where your safe edge is.

Would loved to see the ability to sacrifice a knight to destroy a block of land for some sort of tactical retreat, or maybe it takes two your land building blocks to destroy one land block.

The unit merge is for sure needed. Too much micro to manually merge them, good choice Dev.

Nice and simple game, great to play on the phone. Was able to rush the enemy and they never had a response for it. Loved seeing a random land bridge form and enemy pour into my land. Loved building land bridges and pouring into the enemy land.
