LaView ONE Hack 3.11.3 + Redeem Codes

Since there is no user friendly way to tell the programmers the problems I have with the program, I just have to do it in the review.

First of all, even when the internet connection is excellent on both ends, it is impossible to view video from the past unless one is in the wifi network of the recorder. The buffering stops in the 80% and then gives up and blames it on the connection speed.

Most of the time I have to login manually because FaceID only works a couple of days after signing in.

If someone rings the bell, I usually miss that person as it takes too long to open the app and manually sign in. I

Watching current video in high def is hit or miss. Sometimes it makes it and other times it hangs up around the 80 percentile.

I am also sick of seeing the numbers of the app icon go up and up, even though I looked at all the messages. Let’s say, I get three more messages, the total count of messages of the app icon goes up by three. Once I viewed the three messages, the count is removed from the app icon. But when I get one new message, the app icon remembered the count from before and adds the new message, and so on.

Needs more work.

This app doesn’t use Face ID half of the time. Sometimes it acts like it’s going to use Face ID and acts like it’s logging in, but then it magically logs out and then it won’t use Face ID anymore and you have to log in with user if and password. The problem with that is that it doesn’t automatically use any passwords stored in my wallet or anywhere on my iPhone. This needs to be fixed. If you make an app, make it usable. By the time I’ve entered all my login information the person that rang the doorbell has walked away from my door. FRUSTRATING

I went to look and found out that they haven’t updated the app for more than two years!!!! Come on, man!

It always acts like it’s going to connect with my Face ID but then it doesn’t and it never gives me the option to do so again. I then have to type in my password. This is every time! This is happening as people are ringing the doorbell! This is impossible to answer the doorbell because they are gone by the time I login. This is unusable because of this and inexcusable that they don’t seem to give a crap or else they would spend five minutes or so to update the app.

Another example of a company that wants your money for a product but then after they have your money they no longer care about you enough to keep their product working correctly.

I guess it’s a get what you pay for type of ordeal but they really should just remove these off market. Without the app working properly the cameras are useless therefor you should discontinue the product if app developers won’t work on the app... as I can see from many other complaints of the app crashing when trying to reconnect your cameras, it’s a problem they don’t care to fix. They’ve already gotten their money off of us. Regardless no matter how fast the wifi is the cameras still take forever to load and stuck on anywhere from 80%-97% without ever actually loading. It’s a part time job trying to figure it out haha. Steer clear of LaView devices. Save your cash.

So I’ve had 3 of these for a year or so and they set up fine. I purchased 3 more recently but can’t get any added to the app. I guess with the most “recent” app update (if you can call it recent), the set up feature broke. The app crashes now every time I go to connect it and it starts playing the sound. The company needs to just revert to the prior app version that worked, or else stop selling these cameras. They can’t be used without this proprietary app. I’m going to dispute the charge with Amex since they’re good with seller protection of crap products that do not work as advertised.

As with most of LaView’s apps this one is so, so.

1st; Setting up can be tricky if your using a newer iOS device. The cameras require a 2.4Ghz network to work and newer devices use the faster 5Ghz network if its available. And in iOS you can’t really choose that unless your Wi-Fi is setup with two separate network connections. I was forced to use an older iOS device running 9.3 in order for the app to even see my networks 2.4Ghz network.

2nd; iPad native screen support doesn’t work. So you have to run it in iPhone size. Silly IMO. Please fix this LaView developers.

3rd; this may be a camera firmware issue but whenever I review micro SD card recordings and the camera is recording simultaneously the camera freezes and reboots making the camera go offline. Very frustrating!!! Takes a good 30 seconds to a minute to boot back up. This bug NEEDS fixed ASAP!!

I see promise from this app but time will tell.

The app does not allow you to turn off Push Notifications. It cannot connect to the camera at the time you need to check because the camera goes off line most of time and you can not wake it up remotely. It takes too long to view history from local storage and more often then not it says record not found. It is the most expensive peephole camera but the app is almost useless. Very frustrating.

This is LaView’s best app so far. That’s not saying much. The others were pretty awful. I’m using it with LV-N9608C8E and it is fairly easy to navigate. I don’t have the right cameras to take full advantage of the remote functionality. I am happy to finally see an easy way to export video using my mobile device. I have only used the app while sitting in my house thus far. I sure hope it works this well when I’m on vacation and I want to view my cameras record and export video.

Total waste of time. And who’s idea was it to connect via sound wave? SO OBNOXIOUS! I know, try the other two ways to connect the cam... I did. Neither of the three work. This is after resetting it AND trying with a wired connection. So I delete the app and reupload it and the rest password link doesn’t even work. I need a w2 went to me asap please cause this has been a part time job over the past year+ and the bs STILL doesn’t work and shady when it does.

I bought two of the Laview one dot cameras for a little indoor protection and every time I move them I have to completely delete them and start over. Here is where the terrible app comes in.
I have been trying to reinstall the cameras to the app but every time I do it just crashes.
I trie customer service but I’m getting nowhere. Now I have two useless cameras.

Hardware is good for this doorbell but software is terrible. The app will not stay logged in every time the door bell rings it wants me to log back in on the app by the time i get logged back in the person is gone from my door. Has not been fixed in over a year no response from developers this app is trash got another doorbell that works much better stay away from this app it doesn’t work.
