Monolit2Go is the ultimate outdoor guide for hikers, cyclists and other nature fans that want to explore the great Slovenian outdoors. It is meant for everyone who enjoys spending time outside, discovering new places and wonders of Slovenia. Application includes more than 2.600 hiking and cycling trails as well as information on other types of trails such as wine and tourist routes. This easy to use guide contains data for the entire Slovenia, all the way from the Alps to the coast.
Cycling, hiking and mountain trails are described in detail with information like trail length, estimated time duration, difficulty level, description, elevation data with detailed elevation profiles and nearby points of interest. Each trail is verified and classified whether it is family friendly or not and enriched with data that tells you exactly how much of the trail goes through the forest, how much of it is on the main and side roads.
Application includes data about the most popular and favourite Slovenian transversals, which includes but is not limited to the Slovenian mountain path or transversal, European walking path E6 and E7, Via Alpina, Pot miru, Via Pomurje, and Juliana trail. It includes popular walking trails like Path of Remembrance and Comradeship, the route of health and friendship more commonly known as Parenzana, different educational trails and many other.
Some of the advantages that the application has to offer:

In this version we have added some minor improvements and bug fixes with the goal to make the app even more enjoyable to use. The focus was on improving terminology and grammar of the app with the aim to make the text within the app clearer and more straightforward for the users.

This time around we dedicated our resources to improve the offline module and make it more robust. We addressed several aspects:
- there was a bug where the download trail feature did not initiate and caused the app to crash, which we fixed,
- the download trail feature was a bit slow and we made it work much faster so now it takes much less time to download a trail,
- the offline module UI had some deficiencies, which we address so that it looks better.

In this version of the app we are introducing a brand new functionality, which we like to call dynamic elevation profile:
- It allows users to interact with the elevation profile of the trail, select a specific point on it and see exactly where that point is on the trail map.
We have also added some minor improvements and bug fixes with the goal to make the app even more enjoyable to use.

In this version we implemented a couple of new features with the hope of making the app an even better outdoor buddy that guides users through their exploring endeavors. Users can now enjoy in:
- a "What's here?" map feature, which shows that all nearby trails or interest points around any selected location,
- and clickable interest point information such as address, phone number and email.
Our goals is also to continuously improve the stability of the app and with that in mind additional bug fixes were implemented.

- The app can now show long distance trails on the map in its' entirety,
- With one tap on the map a user can hide all other elements except the map,
- Fixed a few bugs related to the navigation through the app in order for it to run more smoothly,
- Fixed a few bugs related to the filter's selecting and clearing options,
- Fixed a bug with adding a trail to your favorites, where selecting "later" did not save the trail.
Overall we really tried to maximize the apps potential by improving its' stability and adding some new helpful features.
