cardinal18,
Our GI doc was impressed
My daughter has encopresis and so we needed a way to track our daughter’s BMs for her doctor— when I showed this to her GI specialist she was impressed and even said she would be recommending it to her other patients. Has everything we needed: Bristol numbers, time, pictures, notes. The calendar view is especially helpful to get a quick feel for trends over the months.

My only very tiny complaint: I made a few labels to quickly take notes and these don't come through in the export. Developers: can you find a way to fix this?

Also, in the analytics, would love to see some graphs over time (I.e. Bristol number over time— we are gradually trying to get her Bristol number down to a 4, would be nice to see this trend). Lastly, would be even better to be able to track meds/supplements (exlax, fiber supplements, etc) in this app— and have these overlaid with the trends. I use a different app to track and have to correlate them using exports.
KFiery,
Perfect amount of data
I don’t normally write reviews, but this is niche need and I thought a review might help those like me needing g a way to track their bowel movements. This app is by far one of the most useful I have ever downloaded. I appreciate how easy it is to use and how much information it helps me keep track of. I have been able to determine my patterns and have been able to link my diet more to my digestion. My favorite feature is probably the Notes option, which I fill in each time, but I also really like that the app tells me immediately how long it’s been since my last BM. I have had a form of IBS-C for years, and this app has helped me see clearly what medicines work and how they change my digestive patterns. I upgraded to the premium version and can’t wait until my next doctors visit when I will have a treasure trove of information to share—I know it will inform my doctor better and help me stay on the right treatment plan.
Khmvv,
I love this app
I was so happy when I found this app. I usually have difficulty using the bathroom and I don’t have a normal routine. This app has really helped me keep track of everything and I love it! Thank you so much. However, I do wish that you could change the time to 12 hour format. I also wish it supported dark mode. I pay for premium as I like having Face ID and iCloud backup, but I do wish an Apple Watch app was available!! Most health apps like this include an Apple Watch app which is a bit disappointing. And if there could possibly be a way to have this data in Apple health that would be great. Other than that, amazing app and I highly recommend it!
Poopy Mommy,
Easy and no loud pop up ads
I love this app to log my school age sons BMs. He’s had GI issues since a baby, and doesn’t go every day so it’s great to see in calendar view the last time he went. No more sticker calendar. Easy to use and no annoying LOUD pop up commercials to track (like another I tried for myself). I can easily go back and edit time, or type etc if I make a mistake. Others you have to delete the entry and start again.
He thinks it’s funny you can add a picture. Always telling me “Mom, is this picture worthy?” I’d prefer not to have to see every BM but that’s the life of this Mom. SMH
Now if only I could track two people (for my own tummy issues) this would be great. Think of people tracking with twins.
Thank you PCal!!
MYNMZLIZ,
My dr loves this app!
I sometimes have trouble answering all of my doctors questions accurately so this app is extremely useful when answering their questions about my bowel movements. I like how discrete the tile is on my screen and the different descriptive options it has for documentation.
I think the only thing I find lacking is a pain/cramping scale. If there was a feature to document your level of stomach cramping and/or pain when having a movement I think it would cover every aspect of a BM.
MoxeyBrown,
Easy & Effective
I am an avid user of tracking apps to track various things such as steps, periods, vitamin intake, etc. I have been using this BM tracking app for about a year now and my overall rating is 7/10.

I have experienced crashes however the updates have continued to improve the app and the crashes are further and fewer. The app interface is simple, easy to use and pleasantly designed.

Today, I decided to buy the lifetime upgrade of the app which gives you better storage options but does not seem like it provides any major changes in capabilities.
scottish78,
Good overall, but export needs work
The UX is overall strong compared to other similar apps. I like the ease/quickness with which I can make entries, not a lot of unnecessary clicks. The custom tags is a nice touch, giving the user flexibility in tracking various symptoms or details.

My main complaint is with the export. The CSV doesn’t contain any of the tag data. So all those entries you marked with blood, or urgency, or any of the important symptoms to track, are not available. My goal was to chart/graph key symptoms like # of BMs with blood, or other details, so show my doctor and see how medicines are working. But this isn’t possible.
Hollyflour,
Great!
I've been using this app for a little over 6 months now and it's great. Especially for sharing your bowel movements with your physician. It tracks everything; color, texture, shape, time spent, time of day, notes, specs about your physical body...you can even log photos! I found this very helpful when trying to explain to my doctor movements were irregular and painful. Tracking ability of this app is top tier. Shout out to the developers!!
LauraBlackbird,
Doctor loved this app!
I have IBS-C and used to only give my doctor a guess as to what my bowel issues had been for me after I would add or remove Rx or OTC Meds, dietary changes etc. Now I’m much more confident when I answer his questions.
Some suggestions for updates:
-Add an option to have a notification if one hasn’t checked in for a number of days the user sets. I know this would help me intervene spells of constipation earlier
-Option to have laymen’s time i.e. non military time
-Option to require a PIN number or password to get into the app
-Option to generate a report that can be emailed, exported some way to easily share data with one’s doctor

THANK YOU for a user friendly, simple way to track BM’s! IBS and other issues can have serious health and quality of life problems so this is a much needed app I’m grateful for.
Going2mountains,
Great!
I like this app. It keeps track perfectly. It’s great for people on diets, who are sick, etc... I wish we had this when my kids were babies. I would have liked to be able to keep track of theirs so when the doctor would ask I would actually know the answer. The only thing is that it only gives you one choice as to what your bowel movement looks like. Sometimes you have a combination of more than one for whatever reason. So I’ve made note of this in the notes when I record it. Otherwise, it’s great!
