Proctortrack Hack 4.2 + Redeem Codes

I tried taking a test on here and it was absolutely horrible. It was a monitored test and it was probably one of the worst ones I had to take. The week before it had so many difficult instructions that me not anyone in my family could figure out. So I decided to have help from a friend of mine the week after. The week after when I was ready for the test I pressed the go to test button and it had all these badly worded difficult instructions that made everything confusing. Again, non of these instructions were available until the scheduled time of the test. After 45 minutes when we figured out what the directions were saying I started the test. We needed 2 screens. 2 SCREENS!! It was ridiculous because it clearly stated that we were not allowed to have a cellular device in the room. It was not accommodating to some people that don’t have anything other than a cellular device. While I was doing the test, it was really frustrating. My test took approximately 3 hours and it was the most uncomfortable testing experience ever. I wasn’t allowed to rest my head on my head even though I was still in the camera frame because it “covered my face”. I was also not allowed to place my legs up on the chair though it was very cold because it was “not proper”. I WAS IN MY OWN HOME. My over all summery is if your any school reading this, DO NOT USE THIS APP OR WEBSITE OR ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH IT. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO USE AND YOH WILL REGRET IT!!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this app has literally been one of the worst technological experiences of my life, full stop, no exaggeration. The American Board of Surgery charged me a total of $1850 to take my qualifying exam, which thanks to COVID-19 was administered virtually using Proctortrack to over 1000 people. Apparently, the ABS did not read any of the prior 1-star reviews, because the issues were all foreseeable: issues with room scans, phones timing out, webcams timing out, etc., all leading to hundreds of people never being able to start their test, getting shut off halfway through, or harassed by their “proctors” who all seem to be foreign-based. These proctors would not respond to frantic messages for hours at a time, leaving people who have dedicated 5-7 years of their life to reach this point and at a minimum, $1850 to take this test, in the lurch. The problems were so severe that the ABS ultimately had to cancel the entire test. That means months of preparation and studying for over 1000 people has been wasted: time away from friends and family, time we could have been doing productive research or moving or just living life prior to starting jobs or fellowship. What a disaster. To any company/organization considering using Proctortrack in the future: you’ve been warned.

Proctortrack was contracted to monitor the COVID-era version of the American Board of Surgery Qualifying Exam, the first half of becoming “board certified” as a surgeon. The process involved downloading an app to your computer that granted proctors full access to monitor your screen during the exam as well as visual and audio monitoring through the webcam, speakers, and microphone. In addition, an app needed be installed on your smartphone to monitor you from a different angle via the camera and microphone.

The system was unable to perform one of the initialization steps (a 360 degree survey of the room and a video of the desk space). The proctor assigned to me stopped responding to my requests for assistance for over two hours. Emailing the company support generated an automated email and nothing else. The phone number to support put me on hold, listing off my place in the queue regularly and then would hang up on me as soon as I was first in line. Glitches happen, especially for large scale processes in new settings. The customer service and communication was non-existent, generating stress and angst on an already difficult day. The company needs a serious restructuring of its support infrastructure. If I could give less than one star, I would.

Singlehandedly disrupted the annual American Board of Surgery exam during the COVID 19 pandemic. Was unable to handle the load of scheduled participants, fewer than half were able to begin the exam, were harassed during the exam, and had personal information used to be contacted through social media after the fact by proctors. They were unable to even start half of the exams. The exam was forced to end before the second day could be administered. Throughout it all they were unresponsive and unprofessional and were unable to meet their contractual obligations. I got kicked out of my test halfway through because when you maximize the test screen the proctor chat bubbles do not pop up. It also does not block incoming message alerts on Mac computers (which I learned the hard way). They reserve the right to keep your private information for 2 years. Do not use.

Due to COVID 19, the American Board of Surgery contracted this company to administer the written board exam to surgeons in order to become board certified in general surgery. It ended up in disaster as hundreds of us were unable to take the test because of technical issues. There app froze (for some mid test), the overseas proctors seemed poorly informed about what was going on and were repeating instructions to restart your computer a half dozen times. During all of this, the central help line for ProctorTrack had an 40 min hold period and they were generally unresponsive to the rising concerns of test takers. Eventually the American Board of Surgery asked us all to stop trying while they worked to figure it out. I sat in front of my computer for 3 hours trying to just START the test without any success. Unfortunately, this company seems to be ill prepared to administer a major national exam.

If I could give no stars that is what they deserve! My daughter has used this numerous times to take CLEP exams so we know the drill and what has to be cleared out of the room. Her last test was a nightmare of an experience that left her in tears before the exam. Many things including a heavy printer had to be removed from the room and couldn’t just be covered up. Now she was told that the mouse has to be wired and not wireless which caused a major scramble trying to find one. When she asked why because it was not required before the proctor said new rules. Then why don’t you send out the new rules instead of spending 45 minutes telling her what to get rid of when 2 months ago it was all fine?!?! Totally incompetent people running this!

The whole experience sucked due to accommodations I have access to breaks but when I hit the break button at the top it resulted in me having to start my exam over again because my proctor did not know that I had them even tho they were in my file this whole process took an hour. Once I finished my proctor did not answer me for over a half hour so I was stuck in the proctoring mode overall a test that should have taken me 2 hours ended up taking me almost 4 not to mention when it told me my test wasn’t uploaded and I had to call their support team and got a very kind man who with no disrespect spoke very poor English which just took me extra long to make sure I could actually leave.

Downloaded for major, two day exam. They staggered the start for the 1,000 surgical residents obligated to take this exam in 1 hour blocks from 7am to 4pm. Many test takers from the morning had not started by 4pm due to a broken “room scan” function, others reported the app was resetting and failing so that the proctor was repeatedly interrupting the 1 hour blocks to ask the test-takers to reset the application but not stopping the test clock while they did this.

1 Star is too kind, it would imply that the application has some basic function that it accomplishes. Terrible back end support through the paired computer program and no official communication by email. This appears as a literal fraud - the company should be ashamed of producing such an inadequate product and service.

I used this app to attempt to take the American Board of Surgery Qualifying Exam. There were multiple technical difficulties with both the computer software and the app. I spent over seven hours working with Proctortrack’s customer service and they were unable to resolve my issues. I was given blatantly wrong instruction by two separate customer representatives and notified by the American Board of Surgery that I should have never been told to use my earbuds as a microphone and that this was a violation of the exam policy. Additionally, I’m concerned for a possible security breach, as shortly after allowing Proctortrack access to my devices, someone tried to access my financial accounts and change the password. Do not use this app under any circumstances. It is a scam.

I’ve been in college for 5 years, so I’ve taken plenty of proctored tests before. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. I spent over an hour trying to take my test because I could not meet all of their ridiculous stipulations for setup. After trying over and over with zero help from the proctor, I was told that I had missed my allotted time slot even though I was scheduled for a three hour exam and it had only been one hour. Now, I’ll have to reschedule and start the process all over again. Also, the proctors are incredibly rude and don’t know how to solve any issues that come up. They just keep saying to restart, which does nothing.
