Very good app for binge freestyling and practicing as a starter.
A little over two years year back, I thought it would be cool to rap. But didn’t necessarily know how to do it, but this app gave me an idea to start freestyle rapping. I still remember that one day in 2019 I was sitting in the front living room all alone, and I didn’t know how to rap really yet but since I had already downloaded this app, I got on the app I just starting spitting and rhyming and free styling. Lol my mom wondered what all the yelling I was doing was. This app has given me the motivation to start my own rap career and as a starter I haven’t made it that far though I plan to release some songs. This app has given me the motivation and interest to do rap and with all the different beat options, and the words showing up, whenever I have had or still occasionally deal with stress or anxiety issues freestyle rapping has helped me to feel calm and this app has given me a chance to do it. Nowadays when I’m bored I like to freestyle, though I’m not the best at it I’m still working on it. Thank you.

Great for freestyle practice
I’m totally new to freestyle and this app makes it super easy to practice. Even with the free version you can get all the key features such as background music and random words. Perfect distraction free app.

Pretty cool app
I enjoy the fact that it gives you random words as well as instrumentals you can record to. You can also get it going without much set up at all. It’s pretty simple and straightforward. I think if the app had words that were more closely related it would be easier for someone just getting into rapping, as the challenge of tying in the randomness of the words is just as challenging as coming up with your own - but I guess that’s what makes it legit. It takes practice, but gets your brain going and helps to not get stuck in a lyrical corner. I enjoy it!

New update ruined the app entirely for me :(
I dont normally post negative reviews but the thing is i used to love this app. It had everything i wanted. It had tons of great loops and words. I love the idea of getting a prompt to rhyme. However the new update removed the ability to play music while the screen is off, which isnt that bad, except for the fact that the screen still automatically turns off. Thus if you want to do a unprompted freestyle you have to keep tapping the screen.
It honestly doesnt sound like a lot but i completely stopped using it after that and uninstalled it.

Great app I highly recommend
I highly recommend this app if you are a artist and you can’t come up with words or ideas . Also great for writing rhymes and the app has gotten better with beats included. It will be nice thou if you can write or if there is a feature where it writes as you are speaking kinda like dictation . Also a build in dictionary or a collaboration with rhyme zone. If there is something like that is already existing in the app I would like to know

Great app, poor UI with self recording feature
Love the app love the dictionary of words—despise how the self recording works.
God forbid I hit anywhere on the bottom half of the screen, it’ll shut off my music and pull up my front facing camera. I know you’re trying to push this feature Fran but an option to turn it off is would be a good start. You just ruined my flow doin that
The app should let you refresh the words hitting anywhere on the screen so you can focus more on the rapping, instead of having to one-tap the word just to get to the next.

Needs beats
Needs wayyyy more beats, maybe allow users to upload their own beats? Let users rate those beats so if crappy ones are uploaded they can be removed... big issue is when recording using headphones (to hear the beat realll good) on playback the beat doesn’t play...

Very nice app, exactly like the web browser but in app form. The app does need to add more beats to the tracks. Besides that, I have no other problems with it. Haven’t tried the recording yet so this review is basically about the app except for the recording aspect of the app. Good job💯👌🏽

Apps dope but...
The app functions for everything you need in a clean interface and even gives you a variety of beats. However, you should give people the option to add their own beats. Its free and dope tho.
