Say hello to our new feature: pattern journals.
You can now create and manage your projects directly within Ribblr ePattern. Simply click the new journal icon to get started.
Write notes, add photos and even select your mood. Ours right now? DELIGHTED.
But that's not all! You can make your note public and share them with your friends.
Access your public journals by clicking 'My Patterns' then 'My Journals' and hit the share button!
NEW REVIEW SYSTEM
To help you find the right pattern for you, we're introducing a new & enhanced review system.
You can now see other people's reviews and journals on any pattern listing on Ribblr!

As you probably know, Ribblr is packed with lots of accessibility features.
What?
From dark mode and reduce motion to selecting your size, language and font size.
We've now improved our left hand mode, which allows you, our beautiful left hand crafters, to craft with ease.
See left hand stitch tutorials and craft charts from left to right, instead of the default right to left.
How?
By selecting left hand mode from your accessibility menu.

Because you're awesome.
ADD GIFT NOTE
On our most recent update we've added an option to send patterns as gift. Just in time for the holiday season, right?
Well, you've asked us to add notes to your gift - which is a great idea. And you can now do it!
Go ahead and gift away. We'll let the people you've gifted know what an awesome friend you are.
SPEED
The app is now a lot faster thanks to some construction work behind the scenes.
BUGS
We also had to do some frogging and fix some bugs.
- Fixed: an issue specifically for some iPads where the app closed when deleting lines in Ribbuild mode
- Fixed: an issue when Ribbuild would sometimes add an empty line

Love the App!
I’ve been using the app for a few weeks now and I love it. Makes it so easy to follow a pattern while I’m working and watching tv, the progress checks and everything are great. My only suggestion would be to add a way to return to your search after you click on a pattern. Sometimes I want to look at the details of a pattern before I buy it, and if I don’t have the right skills or equipment I want to be able to return to my place in the search to find something more suited. Its not the end of the world but it would make searching for the right pattern or project a lot easier if I didn’t have to start at the beginning of my search each time I click on something. Other than that, I love the app and will be using it for all my pattern needs!

No in-app Google sign in
The app has an attractive front end, but when I went to sign in it was missing the button for Google sign in. I tried to sign in with my email and password but got an error message. After that I tried to click forgot password and it said I needed to input my email first so I did, but then it said I needed to wait a few minutes before sending another request. I was really looking forward to using this app to find free patterns and I would at least like to be able to use my Google to sign in on the app as that is what I was able to sign up with on safari. Also, getting an error message about too many requests after being in the app less than 5 mins was a turn off.

good idea but not so revolutionary execution
As someone who’s struggled getting used to Ravelry I was excited to see an app with better design. The problem is the search is awful, the filters are nowhere near as complex and it’s hard to find what you’re actually looking for. The app is ridiculously slow and has an annoying pop up telling you to stop tapping if you tap more than once because you’re unsure if it’s even loading. This app definitely feels geared towards beginners as there’s a million variations of the same chunky crochet bee and many pattern designers seem to be beginners which makes me doubt the quality. The only feature I’ve enjoyed is using their row tracker for colorwork. Otherwise it’s a pain to be expected to follow a pattern in their app instead of getting a pdf like normal. If the app actually worked like all the trendy influencers they pay advertised it might be worth it but it fails to deliver.

Good app but
I love Ribblr I use nearly almost ever day to get crochet inspiration but it won’t let me get any more free patterns and it’s really weird. I’m trying to get them fast because most are on a flash sale. Can you please stop it where there is a certain amount of free patterns that you can have??? Thanks

Great idea, terrible execution
I want to love this app because the idea of having a virtual knitting pattern where you can cross of rows as you complete them. However, the app is so full of bugs that it’s almost impossible to use. It logs you out every time you close the app, the search functionality is almost nonexistent, the app is SUPER slow, there’s no way to close a picture in a pattern once you open it without full-on quitting the app….etc. etc. I really hope it gets better in the future.

Hoping for improvement
I really do enjoy this app and believe it’s a fantastic idea. I do have a few criticisms, though. For one, it is very difficult to comment on anything in the community page. As well as that, when you search for something and sort it (ex. price low to high) it seems like the app doesn’t know what to do and will just show me crochet patterns. If I am looking for a pattern, I wish it would be easier to find.

Great features right on the patterns (like links to “how to” and small businesses and fantastic quality patterns and interface. Similar feel when the competitor (e_tsy) had started….yet with much better interface and community building tools.

Absolutely amazing
This app is so easy to use and you can have access to loads of patterns all in the same place, and following the patterns is really easy and dynamic! I also really like that you can buy patterns with apple pay

Concept is Greater than Execution
I love the idea of this app. It has many great features including the tutorial links in patterns and the ability to cross off what you've done. However, this app is very user unfriendly. The interface feels dated and clunky. There is too much going on and the app feels difficult to navigate.

Limits the amount of patterns you can download
After only downloading a few patterns, I get the message that their “free servers need time to rest I’ve already downloaded my 5 free patterns for the day” even though I didn’t download 5 yet and paid for one of them, I was trying to download patterns to use on a trip but I will be using the lovecrafts app instead as they do not limit pattern purchases
