I am a medical doctor in an OUD treatment center. The company I work for switch to SAMMS over two years ago and it has decreased my productivity, 3 fold. It is a click jungle and calls for repetitive actions and repetitive information input constantly. Clinician productivity is down across-the-board. We get no direct access to a support team and there is no “help” button or access to user manuals or videos. There is so much wrong with the system but I could go on for pages -and I’m not a guy who gets frustrated easily. My senses that the SAMMS/Netrix team did a great smoke and mirrors show for corporate and now corporate recognizes how bad it is, but they’ve invested too much money in it to pull out. Meanwhile its folks in the clinical trenches that suffer the consequences.
