Better than football manager
I think this game has lots of potential first let’s fix the 3D matches I know that it’s on mobile but it can still be fixed and be better but I know that in 2023 it will be way better I say there is little things from football manager that they could add to this like the ability of Coaching outside of the game and mentoring but in general it’s a way better and simpler game than football manager is it even has a stadium builder like that’s something football manager has because they say football manager is the best but I think this is better I would wanna add more stuff like half time talks and the outside coaching and add a youth/reserve team my assistant coach controls or openly chat with players if they doing good or bad or if they wanna leave and such but overall it’s a good game with actual 3D models of stadiums and games that other manager games it has just a few features needed but other than that 5/5 game

Okay to play for a day or 2
It’s been a long time since I’ve played a management sim. This games reminds me of the joy I had when playing Premier manager on the ps1, with its simplistic approach. I chose Aston Villa finished 4th season 1, then in season 2 won a treble of league, FA cup and champions league. Once you have a team of about 75 to 80 rating and high chemistry most games are winnable. If you just focus on upgrading the training ground constantly you get a big boost in performance. Target transfers with 12 months left on their contract and you’ll pay less than the valuation up to 25 to 30% less depending on the club. Sell any player who clubs are willing to pay over the odds for, finding cheaper and better replacements is easy if you target players with shorter contracts remaining.
Overall good game but too many preloaded ads make it unplayable if you don’t want to pay. I’d already achieved what I wanted in a short period so I was happy to delete the game with no regrets.

15 Issues on sm22 that must be fixed in the major update after 1.2
1. Recall loan players 2. Terminate loan contracts 3. Players should only be asking for new contracts when there is 1-2 years left 4. Updated academy vale is still not on Chelsea for example 5. Academy games/competitions 6. On loan players actually getting minutes 7. Easier morale system 8.Manager level up to at least 26 so it’s possible to get 100 on all manger stats 9. Less straight reds 10. Realistic transfers ex. City have salah, Bayern have vvd, Bayern have Haaland who has only played 6 games bc lewa is still there etc. 11. Possession is hard to control even with the right tactics 12. More tactical roles and options 13. Players not progressing. Example Christensen and Svalai haven’t gained a rating in 2 szns and they haven’t even hit their peak. Training level 8 btw. Used all of the different drill options. 14. Players ask for too high of a role. 72 rated Gallagher is asking to be a rotation player even though I have better cm and cam them him 87 havertz 87 mount 88 kante 80 gilmour 83 Jorginho 86 kova 77 rlc 15. Please explain this
I am in my 3rd season with Wrexham F.C which at the start of my career mode was in the national league. I have won league cup this season against Liverpool 2-0, Top of efl league one with only one loss where I played a squad of mostly rotation players, Im in my second fa cup final in two years winning the first one against Chelsea 1-0 in league two. This year I smashed united 4-1 in fa cup quarters. I’m in a Europa league semi final against United that I’ve yet to play, of which I will probably win. My team would finish near the bottom in the championship at best if this game was more realistic. There are a lot of other issues that I can bring up but just make the game more difficult and coins make signing players in the lower leagues a lot easier which is fun at first but kinda makes you wish it was a little more grindy. This game has a lot of potential developers, so please, read more reviews like this one to see where you can improve in your game. Thank you.

A complete mess
I’ve played Birmingham city in my first season. My entire front three is unhappy because of their own personal performance. They are now non existent on the pitch. There is no way that my team who is that much better is putting up 13 shots to 1 and still tying the game 1:1. Don’t know what to do because I’ve spent all my money getting deeper and investing in youth like you are supposed to do I can’t bring in an amazing attacker even though I already have three for my level. I end up losing or drawing every game by just long balls being sent over the top. The games are scripted before you even played them. I played a game three times and every time the same man got sent off and we lost by the same result. Also, the assistant manager gives useless information. Changing the formation won’t do anything, the formation I play is just to get my best players out on the pitch. All he says is that we need defensive help when we have struggles attacking and they have 1 shot and that we are losing in the center when we have 55% possession. Was going to buy VIP silver but then realized this game was scripted.

Thing that should be fixed in the 2023
The transfer system is wack , I hardly get offers for players on less they are place on transfer list and which reduce there value , swap deal should be included in the 2023 . Playing not leaving due to there loyalty to the team and they don’t play a single minute, players wanting to wait till there contract expires just to go for free , all there are mess . The game should be more real , a lot of problems in the transfer. The team income is too low, You win matches and you didn’t even get a dime unlike the 2018 where you where given money for winning match and I think maybe sporting directors should be added to the game in terms of transfer so they make the negotiations, more also teams can just sell there best players to rival ex man utd selling Bruno and Pogba to Chelsea . a lot more like . Selling of star man to any how teams should be fixed If it can be played offline that will be excellent

Train wreck
This is not ready to be released. I lose every game 3-1. No matter the opponent or tactics, every game has been 3-1. I’m playing with Chelsea and I’m losing to Dover and Annan, whoever that is. Now 16 games in. All 3-1 loses. Every. Single. Game. Transfer system is a complete mess. Every offer I get is robbery and buying players takes way more than a player’s worth. Half my players refuse to be sold. I’ve tried making players unhappy. Alonso has not played a minute and has been moved to reserve squad. Dude still won’t leave. I get he isn’t excited about moving to Hartlepool, but when City comes calling and he still won’t go, it’s clear this game has issues. And I apparently have some embezzlement going on in my club. I’ve managed to sell enough players to raise my funds high enough to make the offer I want to, then I magically lost 60 million. I finally sold Jorginho, then Roman apparently pocketed that cash as well. I get it was just released so it’s likely to have some bugs, but this is a mess. Can we just have 2018 or 2019 back with updated rosters? You know, before you ruined this game?

Competitiveness Bug
There is a bug, that passing a consider amount of seasons in the game, like 4 or 5, the teams start to lose competitiveness, because they start to buy players with less level that the level of the players that they started, making a squad less and less competitive. Also i want to say that another bug is that the players without the face in their profile don’t grow their level in others teams except mine, this also happens with a lot of players with face. And last thing i want to add is when the players start to lose level because they are 30+ years old, the teams don’t sell them, they keep that players and don’t buy better players to reforce the team or in the case that they buy players, they buy players with less level and that players don’t grow their level, making that the team start losing competitiveness

Good presentation, bad AI
I really don’t want to sound like a sore loser. But this game is consistently way to difficult. Strikers don’t get nearly as many chances as they should, regardless of whether you’re “attacking” or not. A lot of times it feels like tactical adjustments don’t effect anything. Once again, the game is just too difficult for its own good. You can never sell a player above his value, but always have to buy players above theirs. Now, it shouldn’t be a walk in the park by any means. But when you’ve made good transfers and have built a good team, and are playing against a team much worse than yours, it kinda should be a walk in the park, if we’re being realistic.
That being said, the presentation and licensing is really well done. The 3D matches are completely broken but they’re still better than nothing.

2021 is a better version
I’m so disappointed from what I got in this 2022 version of the game and yes the 2021 version was more better in terms of players development and all aspect and you don’t lose to teams that you are better than frequently unlike the 2022 version, I’ve lost too many matches in 2022 to average teams that I’m better than and never won with a good goal margin and they even barely pass the ball around unlike the 2021 where you see your tactics working and you can see your tactics being played unlike 2022 where all they do is just run with the ball and shoot. It’s frustrating and I’m going back to 2021 version. But aside that. The game is a good game and it can be addictive. I’m giving a 3 stars for 2022 and all 5 stars for 2021 tanks .
