Plays fine, late 2022
These are great additions to the MI franchise, and episode one and two both played without issue for me on a basic 9th gen iPad.
While I liked the puzzles in episode one a bit better, this is still a great episode continuing the adventures of Guybrush, Elaine and the rest.

Yup, I bought it
Sorry for derailing any antiestablishment plans but I just like Monkey Island games. I haven't finished the game but I enjoyed the new islands and the Lechuck surprise. I will be buying the rest of the games at full price. I've waited a long time to play a new MI and I want to show Telltale games that I appreciate their hardworking and time.

MY FAVORITE PC SERIES EVER NOW MOBILE!!!!
ive been a fan of gybrush threepwood (mighty pirate) ever scence the very first game on PC from like 1993 or 94', humorus, challenging and the characters are more rememberable than anything else ive seen or played, i seriously choked on my pumpkin pie when i saw that they released the first 2 PC games on iphone (and it being remastered was an extra 'hell ya'), now that they have this 5 part new game series i picked it up and again was floored on how amazing and fun it still is! this is a major score for any point and click adventure / puzzle fan, if you havent checked out the original 2 games "the secret of monkey island" & "lechuck's revenge" you should really pick that up and get down on those first, it will help you fall in love with the characters (like stan, the most annoying and rememberable character in the game by far haha) and get used to the puzzle layouts, if you dont know of some of the games insights you probly wont have as much fun with the puns and nostalgic punchlines in this series, but even so, such a worth while game for anyone of any age. must buy for sure!

A fantastic new chapter in one of the greatest Lucas Arts games ever
Having playing the Monkey Island games since the first one came out, it's a treat to revisit Ron Gilbert's world. With a UI that's both intuitive and easy to use, and a sense of humor that matches seamlessly with the series, I'm more than happy to pay for new chapters. I can only hope they never stop coming!

Great game
Not crazy about the price but I will continue to buy them because they are great games. Not thru second yet but already purchased third:) keep it up, for future purchasers, price is a bit steep but it's well worth it.

Have downloaded one and two and will be downloading three and beyond. Think it's unfortunate that they're available on iPad for $2 less, though.

Another great chapter
Everyone is complaining about the cost but it's worth it. People who played the old ones will love this new adventure. Glad to see Ron Gilbert's involvement (finally). Third episode downloading as I write this review.

So, we already paid $4.99 for the 1st chapter. And it looks like $4.99 a piece for the next ones. Do the math, its crazy! These games are starting to cost alot of $$! Especially with IAPs, (in ap purchases), some as high as $99!! Thats more than PS3, and XBOX!

One of the best chapters in the series
This follow up to chapter 1 is strong. It introduces more characters and may be the best chapter in the series. However, the lagging effect will occur if the device is filled with a good amount of content.
