Don't buy, doesn't work! Updated: Problems finally fixed
This app was recently updated, and the update clearly wasn't ready to be published because there are way too many bugs in the programming. Half of the features don't work at all. It would be a nice app to go with the book, but not if it doesn't do most of what it claims to do. As for the $20 subscription that's required to use the app, it would only be helpful if you're actually going to use the sessions that go with it. Otherwise, it is way over-priced for a very amatuer app that is barely functional.

UPDATE: After many weeks, they finally fixed the bugs in their app. I can't give it more than 3 stars though, because publishing an app before fixing those problems is so unprofessional and indicative of how future updates could be rolled out.

It is not a stand alone app, it’s a program!!!!
This rating is not fair. This is not a stand alone app- this is a tool that is part of a comprehensive program. If you’re not in the program this app will not work for you. DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU ARE NOT IN THE THIN WOMAN’S BRAIN PROGRAM!!

If you are looking for real help- join the program- it us life changing! I cannot recommend the TWB program enough. It has helped me do a lot more than loose weight. I now have significantly less stress, love myself more and I look forward to a biweekly coaching sessions.

Wow! Great Program-Worth the $
I first became aware of this program from a FB post. I bought the book; it made me rethink dieting. Frankly, I could not think about yet another diet. Every time I did, I would go on a binge. That has stopped due to this program! I have stopped gaining and am slowly reducing. My food addiction rating was severe. That rating is slowly improving too.

The price of this app includes 4 weekly group sessions with Dilia. You get to discuss your current concerns/struggles and you get to hear other participants' struggles. Just listening is very helpful; you realize that you are not alone. Dilia's advice is always spot-on, nonjudgmental, compassionate, and super-smart. She recommends that you attend two sessions a week. I always feel better after attending.

Now, about the app... It is here to help you stay focused and to give you a way to handle your brain hunger. There are many tools for that. They work!

Before I found this program, I was feeling hopeless. I would torture myself by going on another diet only to gain the weight back. For me, this program is the answer. Honestly, after starting TWB, I became happier. I am no longer beating myself up for my weight and my binges.

This app is a bargin because of the four weekly calls you get wtih the author, Dilia Suriel. During the calls she helps you get off the CYCLE OF SHAME that feeds brain hunger and food addiction. The app teaches you how to use MINDFULNESS as an approach to weight loss which is safe, effective, inexpensive, and will help you get to the root of your food addictions. If you are looking for another mindless "eat this but not that" diet then this app, and Dilia's book: "The Thin Woman's Brain" are not for you.
