overall it's a lightweight, easy to use design that doesn't jerk you around with data collection or ads or in-app purchases.
the only reason why i'm not giving it a five star review is that the frame rate for converted GIFs is at 30 frames per second, so if you have a really high quality video and you want every frame saved, it won't go past 30 fps. not really an issue for me because i just scrape videos off of youtube which is capped at 30 anyway, but any sort of limit is kind of a bummer.
forgot to mention that it works without internet connection! and there doesn't seem to be a cap for the size of video or gif, so while you *may* blow out your phone's processor making a 20-minute gif, it won't stop you like an online conversion tool would.
i like gifs and APNGs because they are lossless, unlike almost all video formats. so if there's good art i like it in image formates with massively inflated filesizes.
