MrJeffreyGee,
Bugs, Feature Request, & Spelling Errors
Overall the app isn’t bad, but needs a few changes. I can’t connect the app to the Health app for some reason. When I tap “Connect” it does nothing. There’s also a spelling error in the “Change Password” screen under current paaaword. The camera option is good, but needs a selectable delay. Can’t take my hand away fast enough to not get it in the shot. 📱👎🏻👍🏻⭐️⭐️
too much hope in an app,
Not too shabby
So far so good, I’m impressed with the functions it allows me to use. The sound leaking doesn’t really happen unless it’s full or close to full volume (which the app tell you about prior to increasing/decreasing the volume), the alpha functions are really cool but I’m assuming will be cooler once fully programmed.

In regards to the app itself excluding the glasses- I’d like to see an update sooner rather than later as there are typos already as well as the initial set up has a white background with a white font color, making it impossible to easily set your age, weight, and height. This can deter people from purchasing the product as the forefront (or face) of the glasses would be considered the app and with these almost negligent errors can be perceived as “bad business”.

All-in-all I gave the overall score a 3/5 but I truly believe once the app gets an update, (hopefully sooner than later), I will increase the rating accordingly.
GanethLey,
This app is terrible.
The glasses are pretty good; they could be great if you fix the app. I can't get it to work at all on my phone. I can't get the sensors to connect at all on my phone but they will connect to my iPad. The audio will connect to my phone but the app won't connect at all on the phone; the glasses just don't show up. I can't get past the "Turn on Bluetooth" screen, even though the glasses say they're connected. The text in the app is white on white no matter what picture I use, so I have to listen to the wheel scroll and feel for the vibration and then go back to the main screen to see if the information (weight, birthdate, etc) has changed. Most of the time it has not. I don't know how many times I tried to set up my profile before eventually trying it on my iPad. Please, please, please, fix the app! After waiting for three years on the glasses, I don't want to wait another three years on the app, especially noticing the extremely limited hardware warranty on the actual smart glasses.
SuperPlayer,
Great glasses, amazing interface
It only took 3 1/2 years to get these glasses on my head but it was well worth the wait! The design & construction is quite solid and attractive. They are surprisingly lightweight but very sturdy and fit well. The lenses are very high quality and the company was very forthcoming with their updates and ability to change prescriptions mid stream. In fact, my prescription changed 3x’s from the initial order and the lenses were perfect.

The quick start guide barely mentions the App which is the heart of the glasses. Pairing was quite easy if you followed the verbal prompts. Rushing through prevents pairing. Once paired to your phone (iPhone in my case), the few settings are intuitive and works well. There is a slight lag from the tap to the activity so you must be patient here too.

The quality of the sound from the bone conducting pads is remarkable. As a hearing specialist, I am most impressed.

The charging case fits the frames perfectly and charges effortlessly. It comes with the USB-C cable as well as a cleaning cloth.

Having used these glasses for a week, I am very glad I preordered on Kickstarter and was patient with the company. Kudos to them! I look forward to seeing updates that will make these glasses even more functional.
pblossom,
Finally! Ver 1.2.5 Did it!!! Yeah!
I’m FINALLY able to connect to my iPhone! Version 1.2.5 worked! I did delete the prev app & reloaded it to prevent any residual issues.

I can FINALLY listen to audiobooks, music, etc while gettin’ work done!! I spec’d my nearsighted Rx in for the lenses, so I can really see too! So thrilled!!

As early adopter of bone conduction technology, I’m hoping there’s continued future audio improvements to increase adoption. Re the lenses, would be great if frames were built to allow my preferred Optician to insert lenses. Otherwise, great job Vue! Keep it going!
ColdSnap82,
Hot garbage
I had high hopes but was let down. The app doesn't support dark mode so you have to switch your iPhone settings in order to read stuff in the app. You can't select certain weights, it just skips those weights all together when you attempt to select them. It has an option to connect to the health app but doesn't do anything when you select it. Enabling notification settings for calls, emails, and texts does nothing. Seems to me there's still a lot of bugs that need to be worked out before the app went into production.
Makellan,
Barely and rarely works
-If all you want is the speakers on the glasses, skip the app and just pair with your phone.
-There are problems with the glasses but this is an app review. The app doesn’t say where the control panel is.
-The app doesn’t store any credentials or personal information but it asks for both every time.
-The help button takes you to a broken, blank page that your browser warns you isn’t secure. (And then you need to fully log back into the app because it didn’t store your credentials or info)
-The app completely refuses to pair the glasses with an SE.
WhoopsieGoldberg,
Awful App
Every time I log in, I have to input ALL of my user data. Why can’t the App Store any info? On top of that, when I do enter my data for the umpteenth time, I can’t see anything because the app does not support Dark Mode, so all of the scrolling menus are just white and you can’t see what you are selecting, leaving you to count the haptic feedback tics so you can get to the right number... which is incredibly inconvenient considering the weight starts off at 399 pounds! There isn’t a single positive thing I can say about this app, it’s just terrible.
Let'sGo_,
App and glasses are good... a few things need to be fixed
-There should be a timer option in the camera triggering, or at least a 2 second built-in delay... so my arm isn’t up touching the glasses in the photos.
-The in-app battery percentage indicator is stuck on 1%, but the in iPhone Bluetooth battery for it is correct.
Car2nsrkewl,
Terrible design and functionality
The design is absolutely terrible and the app can’t do simple functions. This app needs an update, but it really needs an overhaul. Just logging into the app it doesn’t work and then when you finally get in the pairing doesn’t work. When I finally got in and opened up the app an hour later I had to login again and start the vicious cycle of inputting my data again. Please update the app and give it basic functionality.
