This game is great! The graphics are beautiful and cartoony. Also the pigs are adorable. Only, when you try to play multiplayer (not invite friends) you don’t get real people. You get cpu players. You might as well play single player then. Idk if it’s cause nobody else in the universe is also looking for a multiplayer game or just cause the game has a rough time connecting to other people. 🤷‍♀️ The reason I gave it 3 stars is because I was really looking forward to having an online game. Where you are actually interacting with other people. Not a computer. So yeah. I hope the devs can fix it. Maybe it’s just my WiFi or connection but it seems okay to me. This is totally a fun game tho. I definitely recommend it.

Hi, I am usually very critical of games, flaws or no flaws. Hogwash has more than delivered, but there are some things I think would make the game better for everyone. First, bug fixes. I was on like, level 40 at one point, with a ton of progress, and suddenly the app kicked me out onto my home page, and all my progress was deleted and I had to start over. That is actually pretty much the only bug I have noticed in the game, and I usually pick up a ton of bugs in many of my video games. So congrats on that. Secondly, I think you should be able to earn coins faster, so as soon as an outfit opens up you can play some,achieve goals, and buy it . Lastly, I think you should make the farmhand run faster. It’s pretty annoying when you see a possession is filling up with mud, and you can’t get to it in time. Or maybe give them super speed like the pigs have! This is a great game, you should definitely buy it, it’s a keeper for sure.♥️

The Farmer when played by a human feels overpowered in how they can capture 2 pigs without having to regenerate water. I think in a higher level of play this wouldn't be much of a problem, but 99% of the players aren't remotely there. It feels more like a execution than a frantic chase.

Just like for Red Reign I can not speak for how the game plays at a higher levels as those levels just don't exist. What I can say is even when the Farmer is vaguely under control, the tactics get stale fast. Once you get started on one method of winning it is unpractical when playing against a bad/AI Farmer to switch, so you just do the same 2 at a time tactic on repeat with little to no variety.

As for other things I noticed about the game since starting on launch. The AI pigs when tied will get stuck in corners. There needs to be a "play again" button as the matchmaking can be unreliable and takes a long time. The end screen shouldn't have a long Splatoon like counter as it is VERY clear who won. Maybe it should be impossible to permanently tie up all 3 pigs. The camera when you're tied up and moving will automatically spin in circles if you don't manually hold it. And there are animation change issues when you are rescued or captured when holding an action button.

5 stars because I want to the game to succeed, in reality I would rate it 3.

Its very fun and pulls you in. Never are you bored, haha. However, I wanted to bring up some bugs i’ve been experiencing. I can’t see the skin I bought for my pig at all. I don’t know much about technology, so it could be on my side and i wouldn’t know. Another thing is that more often than not, when i choose whether to be farmhand or a pig, the game will just sit there. The select options disappear, but the game is still going. I usually just restart the game but often that wouldn’t fix the problem, it would just happen again. It isn’t enough to completely stop me from playing but it is quite an annoyance. Could be on my side somehow because i’m low on storage but i wanted to bring it up just in case anyway! The way the camera works is a bit wonky, but i could adapt. Good game other than the bugs and struggle with the camera. I enjoyed it.

You will have fun with this game wether you are on macOS / tvOS or your iOS device , the controls are tight and responsive with both touch screen and controller ( can’t wait for the Xbox elite2 contrôler )
I like that the piggies will drift when turn to the opposite direction in a sudden and stun for 0.5 sec when they ran into stuffs , a nice touch of balance ⚖️
While farm hand are like a tank with tower oversee the whole farm from a stratégie point !
I wish the developer will keep on updating this game and have more huge updates coming like new map new modes and a public lobby for people to hang out
it would be nice if people know more players are joining in if they didn’t press ready button

the controls on this game are a bit hard to use on an iphone. it’s too sensitive. Also, with all these coins there should be power ups and skills in the game that you can purchase to make the game a bit more challenging. like maybe for farmhand a scrub brush that allows you to make a dirty board clean again. you still have the countdown to make things fair. or maybe add different surprise challenges that if completed offers a bigger reward such as if you are a pig dirty up all six things within an allotted time. multiplayer doesn’t always work right. it would be nice if there was an option to play locally as well. good foundation though for a great game.

I gave this game a good try and loved the concept and premise. However, the controls are overly sensitive and not easy to play with. I find myself trying multiple times to get the right angle/speed to charge at different objects. It seems like there is no easy way to go “straight” so you have to keep approaching and object and guessing which angle to get to it, even if it is right in front of you.

The developers have done a fantastic job at the graphics, characters, and concept. Hopefully they see the feedback and work on the ability to change sensitivity to slow things down and make it easier to go straight. I like that it is fast paced but this is not an issue with that, it is an issue with how the control problems make it almost unplayable.

I really enjoy this game. It’s challenging, but by no means impossible. The ability to change which character you play as gives you some variety of gameplay. As a single player game, it’s great.

Multiplayer, on the other hand, is 100% broken. Matchmaking worked when the game first launched, but I haven’t successfully joined a multiplayer game in weeks. The game just sits forever on the matchmaking screen, looking for other players. My kids and I were very excited by the update to allow inviting friends, but we can’t actually use it because no other opponents are ever found to fill out the open slots.

This is generally a 7/10 hard game. (1 being the easiest, 10 being the hardest.) It doesn’t really work with multiplayer perfectly, connecting to someone else is like flipping a coin. Takes a long time to get used to the controls, but it seems like there’s no settings to change the sensitivity of the character’s movement roller. I installed the game to see if it had controls like Minecraft or Fortnite, something my kids are used to. My kids are ages 7, 9, and 11. They couldn’t control anything and the concept is a little too difficult to lock into for the younger ones.

These games may be more suitable for teens or adults. The chances of you liking and getting hang of the game is really just flipping a coin.

Ignoring all the problems about this game, it has so much potential and the multiplayer is so fun. However, being a farmhand while playing with other people is severely unbalanced. There’s barely any cooldown for the farmhand, the farmhand has a much taller camera angle essentially giving them view of the whole map, the pigs have no invincibility after being untied, the pigs take way too much time to run after being untied (allowing the farmhand to just run back faster than the pig and get re-tied), there’s barely any aiming required for the farmhand to capture, and the farmhand runs way too fast. I don’t know how the developers didn’t think of any of this basic stuff that’s in almost ever similar game.
