Description

All you gotta do is heal.

Take control of Lowlife and heal your downloaded Scripts as you scour a corrupt, dystopian future. Your goal is not to hurt the countless Villains you will face spanning across several Simulations and Raids, it is to keep your party alive so they can do the hurting - by any means necessary.

Throughout the Healing Simulations, you will incept Memories which can be used to trade for new Scripts - or if you have downloaded Scripts with their own god-rolled skills, level them up with Memories or by taking them with you! Sell your extra Scripts in the Auction House for extra Memories to spend. Also shop for other worldwide players' listed Scripts to use for your own.

There are 35 uniquely skilled subclasses of Scripts to be found, including Tanks and Melee DPS to place on your front line, Mages and Ranged DPS for your back line, and Shamans - a wildcard class that can be placed anywhere in your party setup.

Lowlife places you in battle with a variety of weak and powerful Villains, equipped with only a variety of healing spells to keep everyone (and yourself!) alive. Spend your gained Parameter Points to build the perfect healer and fit your play style. Sprinkle a little of your personal playstyle on top by spending Node Points in one of three skill trees to build your perfect healer specialization. You'll need it to get the highest scores on the Global Leaderboards.

Complete Quests and level up to gain access to a variety of Simulations with Bosses and challenges that await you. When you feel confident enough, team up online to take down a Raid Boss or two.

Lowlife is free to play, unlimited, with no commercial breaks. Also works with no WiFi or internet connection (Auction House, Leaderboards, and Raids not available with no internet).

GAMEPLAY UPDATE
The Auction House has been a huge hit, with over 20,000 transactions since launch. Players at any level are able to grab up any Script they see fit to help them conquer Simulations, Labs, and Raids. At any given time in the past month there have been over 1,000 Scripts available for purchase ranging in levels from 1 to nearly 200!

A downside to this open market and lack of Script restrictions is that lower level players can purchase and immediately use Scripts that are far above their current level, making most content trivial and lacking challenge. Similar to being able to re-assign Parameter Points as you see fit, Lowlife set out to break some molds and standards with less rules and limits, but in the case of equipping higher level Scripts, it might actually be ruining the spirit of the game.

To equal out this large power gap, Scripts will now be restricted from being assigned unless Lowlife’s level is equal to or greater than the Script’s own level. This is in line with the standards of the genre, and while the restriction-less experiment was illuminating, it is not in the best interest of the game itself in the long run.

Currently assigned Scripts that may be higher level than Lowlife can remain assigned, but once they are unassigned they will not be able to be assigned again until you reach their level with Lowlife.

This is a very big change to Lowlife, but for the longevity and spirit of the game, it is for the best. I hope anyone who is impacted by this change understands and knows such a major change like this was not made easily.

-Scripts can only be assigned if their level is lesser than or equal to that of Lowlife’s own level.
—If a Script levels up beyond Lowlife’s level in-game, they can remain assigned.
—Scripts cannot be manually leveled up beyond Lowlife’s own level when leveling up from the Scripts screen

FEATURES
-Added Replay button for Simulations
-Added counter to Raids to show hourly history of players who queued for specific Raids.

BALANCE
-Overshield will now give additional Overshield instead of a flat value when cast on a Script with an existing Overshield
-Raised base Mana Cost of Overshield to 300 (was 175)
-Raised base Timeout (Cooldown) of Overshield from 5 to 10
-Raised base Runtime (Cast time) of Overshield from 2 to 3

-Using Extra Life in Simulations will reset the current Villain’s HP
-Casting Gambit on Scripts with Blessing will now reduce their HP
-Dropped Raid Villain count from 12 to 10

UI
-When a Script takes damage while having an Overshield, only the Overshield portion of the Script UI will flash red and damage numbers will be blue

-Added Sort options to Available Quests listing
-Added descriptive error pop-ups for some common Auction House errors
-Combat Log and Villain damage history will now display Custom names of Scripts if set
-Healing Executables will not display Long-pressable icons in Raids

FIXES
-Fixed issue where Scripts would incorrectly reflect being Assigned in the Scripts screen, not allowing them to be Sold and creating confusion (and rightfully so)
-Fixed issue where exiting a Lab would not properly unload Music
-Fixed issue where failing to purchase a Script would result in Updating… never going away
-Fixed issue where casting Chain Heal directly on Lowlife would not reflect healing indicator lines in game

1.32
2022-10-30
UI
-Added Compact Mode to Scripts selection screen to make managing large amounts of Scripts easier

AUCTION HOUSE
-Fixed issue that could cause some listed Scripts to be listed twice, leaving un-buyable Scripts in the Auction House that other players could not buy if that same Script was purchased before. This will take about a week for all of the un-buyable Scripts to filter out.
-Fixed a freeze or crash that could occur when Delisting a Script

OTHER
-Compressed some files to reduce overall install size
-Added Haptic Feedback to additional UI elements when enabled in Settings
1.31
2022-10-28
BALANCE
When deleting a Villain, two batches of rewarded XP are given: one for Lowlife and one for Scripts. Script XP is distributed based on damage done by the Script for balance reasons, but even with a full party of Scripts around Lowlife’s level they would lag behind.
-Tripled XP gains to Scripts from deleting Villains

LOOT
-Added Script XP as possible Villain Loot that will be distributed evenly amongst in-game Scripts

UI
-Added XP gain pop-ups to Scripts when deleting a Villain
-Added “Player XP” and “Script XP” Loot Icons
-Disabled “Glitch” text across the game
-Added “Now Playing” to Countdown and Pause Screens when Music is Enabled

MUSIC
-Added 3 new BGM tracks produced by Gargoyle MODE

FIXES
-Fixed issue where Scripts were not rewarding Memories when sold from Scripts screen
-Fixed issue that could cause Auction House connection issue caused by the loading of Markets screen. The Auction House will no longer load on its own initially which should alleviate a lot of abnormalities that may have occurred in some situations
-Fixed issue where using Filters in Auction House could produce duplicate results
-Optimized Auction House purchasing flow to reduce failures and crashes

In the first Lab, AVARICE.01, complete up to 7 Waves of Villains with the choice of claiming your reward at each wave completion. AVARICE.01 is free for all players and can be played at anytime from the new Labs tab on the Play menu. AVARICE.01 unlocks at Player Level 50. There is a reward cooldown in effect. When the reward is on cooldown, players can still enter the Lab for no Memories cost for practice and fun.

-Cure (AoE) unlocks at Player Lv. 50

-Healing Executables eligible and available to be AoE Casted will have a small finger icon on the bottom right corner of their respective button

BALANCE
Song of Zen is the only AoE Buff available to Scripts, and with its current stats it is possible for it to have no downtime with just one Script equipped with it. -Runtime (Cast time) raised from 5 seconds to 10 seconds

Rocket Launch
-Damage increased from 150 to 200

—This will now allow the Auction House button to be available without delay
-Fixed Auction House issue where incorrect listing statuses could be reflected

OTHER
It is important to note that Scripts are not automatically synced to iCloud for technical/balance reasons because of the offline availability of Lowlife. Never uninstall Lowlife! In light of this, in the event you do want to play on an alternate device, a set of default Scripts will now be generated to match your Player Level (which IS synced) and hopefully get your new device up to speed with Lowlife faster.
-When playing on a new device, a default set of Scripts will be loaded to match your synced Player Level

The backup, storage, and device transfer of downloaded Scripts is currently in development.

AUCTION HOUSE
Several improvements have been made to the Auction House to make it quicker and more performant. Optimizations will be ongoing.
-Decreased initial load time
-Increased refresh speed when within Auction House
-A maximum of 100 results will be returned for any queries.
--Make sure to use the Minimum and Maximum Levels, Cost, and Subclass Filters to scope down to what you’re looking for!

-Renamed Your Listings to My Listings, but they’re still your listings
-Added Done button when adjusting Filters to not make dismissing the Numpad awkward
-Updated Auction House connection error that could occur off of WiFi with instructions on how to access if a specific Mobile Data setting is toggled off
-Fixed issue in Auction House that would cause a freeze or crash when trying to navigate to another Auction House tab when results were Updating

RAIDS
In the first effort to improve matchmaking when finding a Raid Party, all Raids were converted to be "level agnostic," meaning that the Villains each respective party would face would match their own Player Level and damage would scale evenly to the Villain groups and Raid Boss. Testing and feedback showed that this was a little too chaotic if some Scripts were lower level than the Player and Raids were overtuned.
The next phase of adjusting Raids is going back to defined difficulty levels but separating them farther apart to ideally pool in larger swaths of Players. Higher-level Players are encouraged to matchmake for Raids below their own Level and help lower-level Players out!

-Adjusted Raid Levels and Unlockable at Player Levels:
--Buffer Overflow (Lv. 10 changed to Lv. 25)

BATTERY EFFICIENCY/THERMAL FIXES
Work was done this week to significantly reduce power drain causing bad battery life and thermal inefficiencies. As a result, CPU usage has been reduced by 50% in gameplay and by 60% in Low Power Mode.
-Disabled animations at root of gameplay screen which was causing excess animations when moving elements around during different gameplay events (like Deleting Villains, Collecting Loot, Leveling Up).
-Disabled animations on Aggro and Selected Script indicators (this was far too expensive but may return as an option that can be Enabled/Disabled or optimized)
-Disabled Villain HP Bar hit animation (this may come back in a more optimized state)
-Disabled Notification “throbbing” animations (work will be done to make this standout more)
-Disabled Main Menu background effects which were extremely expensive
-Disabled shadow effect on many text elements where it was barely noticeable but expensive to render
-Adjusted opacity on several elements to be completely hidden or visible and not in-between to further increase render performance
Note: Different effects, animations, and glows will be added back piece by piece so that their impact on power can be accurately evaluated.

AUCTION HOUSE
To date there have been over 2,500 Scripts sold in the Auction House with over 500 listed at any given time. To help the performance of the Auction House, some changes will be going into effect.

Auction listings will now expire after 1 Week, after which the Script will no longer be presented when buyers are browsing. At this point, the Script will reflect Expired on the seller's “Your Listings” tab and can be reclaimed and re-listed manually by the seller. If the Script is not manually reclaimed by the seller within 1 Week of expiration, the Script will be automatically reclaimed the next time the seller visits the Auction House.
With this change, the Auction House should become more performant. The expiration date and time will be noted in the “Your Listings” page of the seller.

-Optimized Auction House refreshes to prevent some crashes that have been observed and to help prevent the results from "blanking out"
-Auction House initial load times will slowly improve over the next weeks. With better initial load times, the "Auction House" tab will be visible/accessible from the Markets screen much quicker

GENERAL FIXES
-Fixed issue where Mana would not regenerate at its intended speed
-Adjusted Script status bar to not be overlapped by Selector Arrow
-Adjusted Quests for "Deleting Villains without Script failures" to a maximum of 7 from 8 since Version 1.0 of Simulations only have 7 Villains
-Fixed issue where Script hit points could regenerate much faster than intended in 2 Player Raids
-Fixed issue where DoTs and Bleeds would not work in 2 Player Raids
1.24
2022-09-28
BALANCE
-Adjusted all Simulation Versions to slightly increase Villain HP based on Version number (Villains will have more HP in higher versions)

-Scripts will no longer automatically run Debuff Executables on Villains if the Villain is already Debuffed with a more potent Debuff

FIXES
-Fixed issue where Active Scripts with Max Mana Bonuses were not adding to Lowlife’s Mana Pool in Simulations
-Fixed issue where Regeneration and Fountain were not healing over time as well as they should
-Fixed issue where Rebooting Dungeon manually or after a wipe would not properly reset some states of Scripts and also sometimes result in “phantom damage” appearing in the UI immediately after the Reboot

FIXES FROM CRASH REPORTS
-Improved Scripts’ Buff execution to prevent some crashes
-Fixed rare crash that could occur when downloading Quest Drops from defeating Villains

2022-09-23
-Added in-game link to "How to Play" documentation. This will help new players with playing, customizing, and understanding the concepts of most game features. This can be accessed from the Main Menu by tapping the Question Mark icon and is also available via the web. This is a work in progress and more details and information will be added over time based on common questions and feedback.
-Fixed an issue that could cause the incorrect loading of a Simulation, resulting in a Simulation Version below 1.0 that would cause negative accruals of XP and Memories
-Adjusted UI on some iPhones to prevent overlapping of the XP bar and the bottom gesture bar (Devices without a physical Home button)
1.22
2022-09-22

-Fixed issue where Bleed effect would not be removed when a failed Script was automatically revived after deleting a Villain
1.21
2022-09-11
-Added new Simulation “Dead Garden” which becomes available to unlock at Player Level 50. Dead Garden includes Simulation versions up to a recommended Level of 111.

-Quest generation targeting Raids has been temporarily suspended in advance of some reworks.

-Fixed issue where Bleed effects and hit point regeneration was tied to the frame rate of the game, resulting in slower than intended effects for lower frame rates and faster than intended effects for higher frame rates.
-Fixed issue where Bleed effect would cancel any effects from Regeneration and Fountain and still cause Scripts and Lowlife to lose hit points at the Bleed rate. These two executables will now offset any Bleed damage while they are active. This will result in a temporary pause for Bleed damage.
-Fixed issue where being healed to maximum HP would nullify Bleed effects while Lowlife or the Scripts remained at maximum HP.
1.20
2022-09-09
-Added Bleed effect and reduced direct damage of the following Villain executables: Vicious Strikes, Wild Swipes, Sweeping Slice, Cleave, Decapitate, Rip and Tear, Excision, Chomp, Bite, Slash, Claw, Knife, and Scratch.
-Scripts which are Bleeding will have their Nameplate colored a reddish hue -- not absolute red, but in the spectrum of red.
--Their hit points will also slowly decrease.
-The Bleeding can be removed from Lowlife and Scripts with Cure.
-All Scripts and Lowlife are immune to Bleed until Lowlife reaches Level 10.
-Villains will no longer re-cast buffs on themselves when already buffed.

-Fixed issue where Quest Progress with the objective of Downloading Scripts from Simulations wasn’t properly tracking.
1.19
2022-07-21
-Added confirmation prompt for purchasing Auction House Scripts.
-Fixed issue where incepting Memories was not progressing Active Quests with goals of Incepting Memories from Deleting Villains.
-Currently Quests are being generated which require a higher Simulation Version Level than what is currently available. Quests which require an impossible Simulation Version will now be Active and gain progress when in Version 9.0 of the required Simulation. All current Active and New/Unaccepted Quests are retroactively updated to reflect a requirement of Version 9.0 for those situations.

As we get closer to Endgame (new free activities, Simulations, and more dedicated to the post-Level 100 experience) some changes have been made to the gameplay experience after Level 100. Lowlife launched as an journey to Level 100, but many players have progressed far beyond 100 which would make upcoming content far less relevant and focused. I am happy that so many have played so much Lowlife and I want to make sure everyone is taken care of. That being said, with this update all players and Scripts above Level 100 will be re-leveled with the new XP leveling scale. The time spent to reach your current levels above 100 will be directly applied to the new scaling with no XP loss, meaning the XP earned to reach your previous pre-patch Level would have been the same amount of XP needed for your new post-patch Levels.

I hope you all understand, as the new Endgame content can be much more focused to a tighter range of Levels. Being able to participate in new content in a manner that is challenging and rewarding will be worth it, I promise.

XP, rewards, and gameplay below Level 100 are unaffected by this change.

BALANCE (Lv. 100+)
-Players and Scripts above Level 100 have had their Levels retroactively converted to the new XP scale.
-XP required when leveling after 100 (Player and Scripts) has been increased.
-Vendor prices for Scripts above Level 100 has been increased.
-The Memories cost of manually Leveling up Scripts after Level 100 has been increased to align with the new XP scale.
-The cost of purchasing Parameter Points after 200 Points have been earned or allocated has been increased. (Any players with over 200 Parameter Points on first launch will have their Parameters reset and additional Parameter Points above the 200 baseline from Leveling to 100 will be refunded at 1,000 Memories per point to match the previous rate.
-Parameter Point accrual will decrease from 2 per level to 1 per level after Level 100.
-Node Point accrual (1 per Level) will remain the same.
-Node Points will be reset for players above Level 100 to match their new level.

BALANCE
-Reduced base Runtime (cast time) of Bubble by 1 second.
-Reduced base Runtime (cast time) of Blessing by 1 second.
-Reduced base Runtime (cast time) of Regeneration by 1 second.
-Reduced base Runtime (cast time) of Chain Heal by 0.5 seconds.
-Significantly reduced the Armor bonus given by Bosses’ Bone Shield, Force Field, and Armor Up Executables.
-Scripts will now gain full HP when leveling up.

CHANGES
-Consolidated Leaderboard and Achievements buttons on Main Menu into one.
-Added incremental and decremental buttons to Parameters screen to fine tune Parameter Point allocation
-Shortened Level Up screen by 1 second.
-Updated Assassin, Drone, Mecha, and Wizard animated icons.
-Added 1/2 Memories Cost benefit for Extra Lives in Simulation for the VIP Ticket.
-Added more Auction House filters to find only Scripts within a certain Level range, and for a maximum Memories cost.
-Added SOLD text to buttons on Your Listings tab of the Auction House. When a Script sells, tap the button to collect the Memories.
-Vendor and Auction House Scripts now have color-coded Bonuses similar to how they are reflected in the Scripts Configuration screen.

FIXES
-Fixed XP calculation on some Villains where Flawless XP bonus could be added even if Scripts failed.
-Fixed Node Point calculation for new players where upon Leveling to 10 it could be indicated they have 20 Node Points instead of 10.
-Removed some unused assets
-Significantly reduced bandwidth and cloud database load for Auction House queries when using filters.
-Fixed issue where Script Level Up popup in the Scripts screen would be cut off on devices with a home button.
-Fixed issue where some starting Scripts would not be Common rarity.
-Fixed issue where XP wasn’t awarded to Scripts when defeating a Boss.
-Fixed issue where some game state wouldn’t reset when Rebooting dungeon.

UI
-Optimized UI performance with and without Low Power Mode. Without Low Power Mode on, CPU power has been reduced by about ~30%, and in Low Power Mode ~50% (was ~30%). This should result in cooler devices and better battery life across the board. Keep in mind Low Power Mode will basically prioritize battery life over smooth animations, so the visual experience will not be as smooth.

ADDITIONS
-Added new Music track to rotation.
-Added Leaderboard graphics (service-side update).
-Added new Achievement for Incepting a total of 1 Million Memories (This is Inception only from deleting Villains).

ADJUSTMENTS
-Changed radial Global Timeout UI to linear bar at the bottom of each Healing Executable button.
-Updated background of The Smelter.
-Improvements to Scripts and Parameters menus for devices with physical home button to make use of more screen space.

FIXES
-Fixed issue where Leaderboard button would appear on Raid Boss Deleted screen, or on Boss Deleted Screen even if GameCenter was Disabled.
-Fixed issue where Achievements and Leaderboard reporting would still report even if GameCenter was Disabled, potentially causing unwanted sign-in boxes.
-Fixed Achievement reporting for Deleting Trash and Elite Villains (Math is hard).
-When purchasing from Vendor or Auction House, new Script notification badge will now appear on Main Menu.
-Fixed issue where Resetting Node Points would not deduct Memories
-Fixed a Node Point addition bug.
-Fixed some issues where decrementing a Node (A) which was a prerequisite of another Node (B) would not refund and reset Node (B).
(Note: For users who experienced any known bugs and may have lost Node Points, when launching Lowlife a check will be done to restore all earned Node Points and allow full reallocation.)
-Fixed issue where Memories Shop would be cut off on devices with a physical home button.
-Fixed an Auction House bug.
-Fixed a bug where Lowlife could crash when attempting to purchase from the Auction House.
-Fixed issue where Main Menu would not update some notifications or statuses.
-Fixed issue where longer-named Scripts placed on the left side could clip off the side of the screen on some devices.
(Note: You can customize your own Scripts’ names in the Scripts screen and clicking the Pencil next to their Subclass Icon. This can be used for fun or for organizational purposes.)

As always, if you have any feedback or bug reports, please shoot an email via the button at the bottom of the Options screen!

barakiaobama,
Refreshing change of pace
With the thousands of inbred ad-covered games soaking throughout the App Store, it’s so amazing to see a game like this. It’s different, entertaining, and have amazing artwork (especially the animated sprites). When I’m playing, I feel like the dungeons are catered to my level, but does not hold your hand. Though the first couple of dungeons could be slow, the game picks up once you can start swapping sprites, learning abilities, and learning the best perk distribution to clear the toughest of levels. Getting new sprites (characters on your team) are primarily earned through the shop and quests. The ones acquired through the shop are reasonably priced, and you could easily (with a bit of thinking power) make a team that suits you without spending a dime. The online market is a great idea, and gives an extra way to obtain sprites you wanna try out or sell ones you don’t need to make some money back. It’s unfortunate to see how little publicity it has over some of the “great” games on the App Store, and I hope this game goes on to update and evolve into a popular game with all the recognition it deserves.

TL:DR this game has real care implemented in it and I suggest anyone that sees this game give it a try.
capstorm1,
Needs a little polish
I would like to see a screen that informs me on what the scripts abilities do, and not just my own dudes, but every script I have in my party. At first I was to believe that all abilities were about reducing the hp to zero, but then I noticed my necromancer healing me, so by knowing about those abilities I, and other players, can plan out our party more strategically. (After more digging, I was able to find the information screen, however I still believe that getting to this screen should be more streamlined. For those wondering you need to select scripts, scroll to the one that you want investigate, tap on it then swipe to the right, then you get to the read me page) Another major issue I have is that your auction house takes anywhere from 2 minutes to half an hour to do anything, sometimes I just need to give up on stuff it takes so long, I have minimal knowledge in programming, so I am not sure how difficult it would be to make changes in multiplayer aspects, but that would go a long way in helping. Or even if that isn’t an option to fix, allowing the offline market to refresh ever 8 hours rather then 24 will allow us to play with more scripts without having to wait tens of minutes to connect so servers. Edit. Please change the gambit symbol, it looks too much like a heal when in reality it’s the opposite
nwelch101,
Instant classic
This game scratches a really specific itch that I didn’t know I had, and it feels great. Good pacing and progression, and incredibly solid mechanics. It took me a little while to figure out what each of my abilities does (maybe a way to view descriptions of your executables outside of combat would be handy), but now I’m perfectly comfortable with it all. I’m level 55 now, haven’t yet explored labs, but very happy with what I’ve experienced so far and really praying the game continues to offer plenty of depth going forward. Haven’t been able to do a co-op raid Bc of size of player base, but sounds like it would be great, and hopefully more people get into the game. I’ve introduced my friends to it, but I don’t think they’ll enjoy it as much as I do. Again, it’s a very specific itch, and i can’t see the game ever being mainstream. Cult classic potential for sure tho.
Dev, you’ve made something really unique. I hope you can maintain the energy and enthusiasm to improve and add to this game over time. It’s an idea that deserves a lot of love.
the epic stuidos,
Exciting, fun, and clever
I’ve been playing Lowlife for about a month now and I feel that it is the best free game you can get on the Apple App Store. First of all, the game’s premise really helps you see a different side of dungeon crawlers. When you learn to heal your scripts efficiently and effectively you feel very smart while doing it, and I think that’s what gives this game its charm. Additionally the reward system was perfectly implemented into Lowlife, rather than just gaining Memories from killing enemies you can gain experience points and scripts as well. This makes the game over all more fun to play as its easy to just pick up and start to gain rewards. If you’re wondering weather or not to download this game I’m telling you right now that it is a must have game on your smart device.
Holdfast1028,
Fantastic Fun
This game replicates being a party healer for an mmo or arpg. I find it quite enjoyable, there is no tutorial, and I was confused for a few rounds. But I actually found this quite refreshing, the constant hand holding gets boring, I enjoyed figuring it out.

The UI is thoughtfully crafted and everything is displayed in an intuitive way, there is a ton of customization in play style and looking for random loot drops and quests is satisfying. The only thing I have not been able to find is descriptions of script abilities, most are intuitive like taunts or interrupts, but some are a bit more obscure. Giving us descriptions would help with the party and theory crafting.

All in all a wonderful game though and looking forward to any and all updates. Cheers development team!
Nicholas Tracy,
Great Game
Lowlife is a fun game to pick up and play any time, whether you have 5 minutes to kill or a few hours. This game has thoughtful progression and mechanics and paces well. It doesnt fell like a grind; the quests lead you to progress organically through the levels. The in-game script market is great to trade characters. Really everything about this game is awesome.

-----

One criticism i have is that at higher levels (100+), i am seeing some frame rate drop because there is so much going on. Hopefully the dev is getting enough revenue to work on some more optimization in the future.

Another thing, i wish there was a menu where we could drill deeper into the scripts' stats. I would like to be able to see the specific differences in subclasses and be able to see what the different moves do before i use a script. Right now, it seems like the only way to compare scripts in-depth is to vigorously test them in-situ.

Another idea: maybe in the future, there could be more script customization to further develop your team. Maybe like add-on items that can further change parameters or something.
justicemango,
Loads of fun for a game I found on accident
I’m really enjoying this game. Like the others have said, there’s no real tutorial and the help link is broken for me, but it’s been fun to play. My only gripe is that in-game there’s no good way to initially learn what your abilities you unlock do (it’d be nice if the pause button allowed you to explore your skills) and it’s be nice if there was a setting to slow down the combat a little. More often than not the fights can get pretty hectic later on and I find myself being overwhelmed by everything going on at once (so I remove a debuff, should I bubble, oh wait now they’re stunned but for how long, why does my lowlife have less than half the HP of the other members in my party, etc.) but worth trying out if you enjoyed playing a healer in MMOs!
Shockboys,
Incredibly fun and very well designed
This game does so much so well. It captures my attention, the progression is fun, the use of RNG adds replayability without taking away from the enjoyment of the game, and the graphics/UI are gorgeous. I love the vibe to the whole game! Also, the information website is very well thought and presents info about the game in a logical and organizers manner. It’s surprisingly useful.
I love the gameplay loop. It is satisfying to progress, challenges are fun and indeed challenging. It’s not too easy, but it isn’t so difficult that it fails to entertain.
This game was clearly, and continues to be, designed for substantial entertainment. It is very worthwhile, I highly recommend!!
Kingnick9999,
Fun once you figure it out
I’m really enjoying the game, but certain parts just aren’t very intuitive, and could have used a small tutorial or popup explaining the feature, such as what you skills do. I was only able to find the details on my skills by accidentally swiping on them in the party/script management screen. Little things like that left me confused/unsure of what I was doing, though I was eventually able to figure it out whether by using the link to the guide on the main screen of the game or by accident. Still enjoying the game though, these things would just have helped me enjoy it earlier. 5/5 otherwise.
devils darkness,
Fake reviews and terrible game execution
The reviews act as if the games easy to understand and talk about stuff that the developers would obviously say like “hey! Thank you for responding, I found a game breaking bug, so you have any other means of contact so I can tell you the bug without other people reading” or “this game is so much fun, and of course the game isn’t for everyone but being able to play as the healer his such a great take on the game” but there isn’t a tutorial or anything and your just thrown into playing a game with some healing thing that seems to do nothing and before you even get through a minute into the first level it tells you, that you made a fatal mistake and you play again learning nothing to do and proceeding to die over and over again. The game looks good and I’m sure it would be good if you knew what you were doing and the reviews weren’t so fake
