ALL NEW RELEASE WITH SUPPORT FOR OTHER LANGUAGES
220 words is all you need in a foreign country!
Other travel phrase books give you elaborate sentences like "Would be be so kind as to indicate to me where I can find the next train station"? Did you ever try to use one of them while traveling?
Nor did we!
If you don't speak a foreign language and want to know where the train station is, it is much better to just say "train station?". And no, this is not impolite if you clearly don't speak the language. And yes, it actually works!
That's where “220 Words of French” comes in: a language guide with just 220 words (give or take). With phrases that are hardly longer than two or three words. With friendly audio recordings and a pronunciation help.
(and before anybody sues us: the exact number of phrases for French is 211 containing 284 words).
And one more thing: please don’t give us a one star review if you find a bug! Send an email to
[email protected] instead and we will fix it.
