What's new? A whole bunch of things! We've shifted the curriculum from a focus on sleep drive towards befriending wakefulness.
In other words, the teaching now doesn't' emphasize how when you are really sleepy, you will sleep even if you feel anxious. Rather, it emphasizes that when you go from thinking of being awake at night as a friend rather than a foe, as something acceptable rather than unacceptable, amazing things happen!
We've redone our sleep diary too. We realized that keeping track of time can keep you from sleeping amazing. You now track only what truly matters - whether your are letting go of attempts at controlling sleep, how your experience with sleep changes and what life in general is like!
