DAILY THEMES 'Today' and 'Yesterday' - are from Samuel Bagster’s 1860s' classic devotional 'Daily Light'. Morning and Evening themes are from the Authorized (King James) Bible. Tap ‘Today' for today’s themes. If you missed the day before, tap ‘Yesterday'. Interactive texts and rehearsals of verses are available here, too; and these draw on selected Bible texts for you to rehearse as part of your learning, recalling and placing verse references. 'Daily Reading' comprises R.M.McCheyne's scheme for reading through the Bible in either 1 or 2 years - taking you directly to the reading for today's date or to any other date of your choice. 'Sunday in the week' is available only on each Sunday in the year: weekly extracts from 'Wayside Wells, by Rev. Andrew Bonar. SPECIAL THEMES focus on readings from Daily Light for times of 'Afflication', 'Anxiety', 'Bereavement', 'For a Birthday', 'Marriage' and 'Sickness'.
