Let me tell you about trominoes. A tromino is a shape made up of 3 identical squares. The squares can be joined in a line, to form a stick or turn a corner to make an arrow.

Each tromino can be moved by putting your finger on a plain, blue square and dragging.

You can turn a tromino by touching a clock-face drawn on a square:
- Touching the 3 o’clock face turns the tromino on its side. Touch it again and it turns back.
- Touching the 6 o’clock face turns it upside down; touch it again to turn it back again.

You can turn an arrow-shaped tromino three-quarters of a full turn by touching one clock face after another, and back again.

Each tromino puzzle has a grid of green squares and some blue trominoes. You have to put all the trominoes on to the grid with no overlapping and without leaving any empty squares, a bit like a jigsaw puzzle.
