An internet connection is required to connect to Flickr. Please be aware that it could generate a lot of traffic, so we recommend running it over WiFi. When using a 3G connection your service provider may compress the images making them appear lower quality.
This product uses FlickrKit (https://github.com/devedup/FlickrKit) and the Flickr API but is not endorsed or certified by Flickr.

Fixed a bug with 'image not available' shown. This was due to the fallback mechanism of the app - i.e. if the image of the resolution you want doesn't exist on Flickr, the app should fallback to the next best resolution. Instead it was just showing Flickr's not available page and not falling back. I partly blame Flickr for renaming their default error page, which was how I was detecting a none existent image!

The UI has been given a bit of a make over, and the user experience has been improved. The app now feels more natural to use and has many more ways to navigate to suit whatever is comfortable for you.
★ Additional ways to navigate photos and the app (Try swiping up and down, or tapping on the edge of photos). More gestures and improved feel when changing photos.
★ Improved menu hiding. More control of hiding the photo carousel and it staying hidden between areas of the app.
★ Smoother transitions into zoomed in image and photo details views.
★ More full screen views. Grid view is now full screen. Map view can also be full screen.
★ Grid view is now customisable - choose either squares or maintain the natural aspect ratio of the image. You can also pinch in and out to change the size of the grid.
★ Back and Forward buttons - (Beta!) Each photo you navigate to goes into your session history, you can then navigate back and forward. If you navigate back and then choose a new photo, your forward history is reset… if that makes sense…. the same way it happens on a web browser.
