You love watching movies and TV shows and especially the great quotes mentioned there?
Quotes in the movies are inspiring you, make you laugh, drive your life, make your day or just make you think about certain things?

Sometimes you may don't remember quotes from the movies but this can be changed.

Movie Quote Calendar delivers you each day a new quote from movies or TV shows in a nice and beautiful handmade way. All daily quotes in Movie Quote Calendar are picked manually for each specific day.
Each quote comes with a wide range of backgrounds which are randomly assigned to your "Quote of the day" which will make them unique to you.

Some of the quotes delivered to you by Movie Quote Calendar will make you laugh, think, rethink, some other may make you sad, whilst others will inspire your day or even your live or boost your creativity. Also they may will remind you to watch one or the other movie again or for the very first time because some of them are the best of all times. So visit the app each day to get the "Quote of day" and don't miss a single one of them.

All quotes are presented without letting you know which actor, person said this quote or from which movie the quote is. So it is up to you to proof your expertise on that topic and become a movie export with this quiz functionality. Within a simple double tap you can unveil the information about actor, person and movie whilst the final quote will be presented with another beautiful background.

Of course you have the option to mark the quotes as favourite and store them within the app. The favourite section is held in a nicely card layout to make is easy to swipe through your favorites.

Storing your favourite quotes in the app is good but it is so much better to share your favorites to the world, friends and family. With the "Share" option you can easily save quotes to your local picture library, sent them via messenger or share them on your preferred social networks like Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Apart from sharing you can get easily more information about your favourite quote or movie as with a single click you can access more information on IMDb, Letterboxd and Amazon.

As all quotes are carefully picked manually for the app, so are all news in our "News" section as well. We are keeping an eye on some of the latest and most important news in the movie business and share it within the app.

The share menu has been moved into a nice side menu.
Also, there is now an option to hide the buttons for navigations and menus via a simple switch in the settings.
With or without the buttons for navigations, you can use swipe gestures to show or hide the left or right menu or navigate back.

Everything has been turned upside down and inside out in this version. The code has been rewritten completely from the very beginning. The design has been updated and renewed. Within the app you can created an account which allows you to store your favourites and settings online, so that they are synced across devices or if you change your device...nothing is lost and everything is back. Loading times are much faster than before as the app uses a complete new backend. Based on the new version you gonna see much more updates coming soon with new features.

This time we went Inside Out!
We have rewritten the whole app to make sure you get the best of the best!
Each quote is now pixel perfect for your screen size in every way!
You can now switch on the fly between backgrounds...you like the coloured background...no problem...you rather like the movie poster as background...there you go!
We have updated all backgrounds and fonts to make them even more unique to you.
But we didn't stop there and also implemented a warp drive. The app is now faster than ever and can perform tasks in the background, so next day's quote is always ready when you return to the app!
You like to configure what kind of push notifications you would like to receive...no problem we got that sorted for you in the settings section of Movie Quote Calendar.
Of course you can still store your favourite quotes on your device but it now looks even better...all polished for you!
But hey...sometimes you missed a quote? So what...we integrated the flux capacitor which allows you to travel back in time!
How awesome is that!!!
In case you are updating the app from an older version, we are making sure that we transfer all your beloved favourites into the new format!
Make sure you have internet connection for that ride!

First of all sorry it took me so long to do this update.
But now back to business...you can now choose if you would like to have the movie poster of the quote or a random background color.
Simply choose it in the settings. Further we have added a nice share button in settings if you would like to recommend the app.
Another thing is that I cleared the code a bit and we also show you the year of the movie as another goodie.
You also may notice that we have changed something about the font sizes depending if you have a bigger display or the length of the quote.
Hope you enjoy this update.

Bunch of new things in this version!
Settings are back now!!!
You can configure now which Amazon link you would like to have shown in the context menu of a quote.
You can choose between USA, UK and Germany.
Hold on...this means I have directly the Amazon link to my favourite quote? Oh yeah...we have added Amazon links!!!
Further information on this app has been added and gives you the option to support me!
You may will notice the option for a quiz...yes...working on that one and it is coming soon...stay tuned!!!
And another sweet and nice feature has been added...the RESET button.
So you don't like the font or background in which the quote of the day in presented...we can't imagine we you should but fair enough...now you can reset the quote and it will be presented in a different font on a different background which are randomly assigned.

We have extended our database for you!
Awesome!!! But what does that mean for you?
We have added support for IMDb and Letterboxd to Movie Quote Calendar.
Now you can see in addition to the three existing buttons (Favorite, Share and Cancel) also two more buttons for IMDb and Letterboxd if the movie or TV show is listed by these services.
By touching them they bring you directly to IMDb or Letterboxd where you can access all the details about your current shown quote.
This information is also stored from now on if you save quotes to your favorites. Means you can also go from your stored favorites with the same options to IMDb or Letterboxd.

Currently we are working on an option to bring this information to your already existing favorites as well....so stay tuned.
Further we are working on some other new options and features.
So a lot more to come.

Happy New Year!
We have cleaned the code of the app and our database!
Further we have added new fonts to Movie Quote Calendar which makes 20 in total. Font size is now calculated depending our your screen size to have a nicer look and feel.
But what would great fonts be without awesome backgrounds. So we have now over 100 backgrounds which are together with the 20 fonts randomly assigned to your quote of the day to make it unique each day.
Another awesome news...the app is FREE now! So spread the word about it!!!
